We had Tim from South Island Concrete quote1,600 sq ft of stamped concrete in our yard. The job was a complicated one due to our elevation change and existing stone walls. Tim was highly professional and his quote was very competitive so we decided to go with him. I am extremely happy with the product and service Tim supplied. We changed our minds on a couple of things along the way and Tim was always very receptive and easy to work with. His customer service was superb, always happy to help out and go above the requirement to make the customer happy. I recommended South Island Concrete to a few neighbours and 2 of them used him as well. I would gladly use him again.
Tim and his crew did an excellent job with the entire project from start to finish. They explained every step of the process and the pricing was very reasonable in comparison to other quotes. I had 552 sq.ft of broomed finish sidewalks and stairs and 348 sq.ft of colored stamped concrete work completed. I am very excited to start to use my new stamped patio this summer.

The owner, Tim, Is great to deal with. We are very satisfied with the finished product - driveway removal and replacement. During the removal one of his crew damaged the curb stop (water shutoff) that had to be repaired by the City. It took the City one month to complete the repair (not Tim's fault). Tim was relentless during that one month delay to expedite the repair and communicated the status to me regularly.
As well, his crew also damaged our underground sprinkler line. As soon as this issue was identified Tim had an irrigation contractor attend and repair the next day at no cost.
In spite of these tow issues I would definitely recommend this contractor as he stood behind his work to ensure our satisfaction

The work was done quickly and very efficiently and the results are more than we anticipated. The look of the pathway/patio adds a great deal to the overall beauty of the back yard. We added a couple of complications to our job and they accommodated the changes without issue. Their workers put in long hard hours to get the job done and the cleanup was prompt and well done.
