Review: I went for a free consultation and was given a proposal for treatment for a total amount of $4500.00. The doctor said his office would contact my health insurance to find out if part of this amount was going to be covered. The office called me back confirming that the insurance would cover $1500.00. So on my next appointment I signed a contract agreeing to have the service and to pay $3000.00 ($4500 - $1500 covered by the insurance). The same day I had my expander installed in my mouth. One month later, on my next appointment, the secretary tells me that the insurance has denied the claim and now I am responsible for the additional $1500.00 if I want to continue the treatment, otherwise I could just have the expander removed and go to a different doctor.I want the contract I signed to be respected and want to continue the treatment for the price agreed on the contract.Desired Settlement: I want the contract I signed to be respected and want to continue the treatment for the price agreed on the contract.
