DrAnju Verma is claiming that she called me right after she had received my ultrasound resultWHAT A LIE! I 'am appalled that an accredited doctor liesI was the one who called her office AFTER A MONTH and complain about not getting any feedback from all the tests that I have doneHer secretary told me that they would call me backThen, the next day they call me with the ultrasound result and told me that they have not yet received my blood work. I called *** *** (***) where I did the blood work and complain to them that my blood work was not faxed to DrAnju Verma*** *** responded to me that they don't send any fax to her office because her office is entitled to retrieve her patients’ results from *** *** database (***)
I believe that I should be reimbursed for my copay based on the poor service rendered and negligence from her part
I’ am entitled to the principles of good medical practice and the standards of competence, care, and conduct expected of her in all aspects of her professional workIn addition, as a doctor, DrAnju Verma, has a responsibility to deal with the complaint constructively and honestly in observance of professional ethical obligations

February 24, 2014Dear ***:Thank you for contacting our office and giving us a chance to address this issuePatient’s complaint has no merit because of the following reasons:1. We had communicated Ultrasound results as soon as they were
available.2. We did not get any blood test results and had no way knowing where the patient got the tests doneWe had provided the patient with slips for *** and *** -labs with which we are electronically linkedBut it turns out that the patient got her tests done at *** *** ***If at all, the lab was negligent in not faxing the results in time and we hold no responsibilityPatient's claim that the lab does not fax results is bogus - they did fax us the results after we found out where the tests had been done.3. We called the patient as soon as we received the blood test results above.4. Patient’s copay was applied toward the first visit for which due service was provided - hence there is go ground for a refund The tests were performed as a diagnostic measure to see if a follvisit is needed and have nothing to do with the first visitI hope this clarifies the situation and we ate sorry about the bad experience that the patient faced - 'but it is not because of our negligence or faultWe keep our patients well- being foremost in our practice as in evidenced from hundreds of customer reviews in addition to peer reviews in the Washingtonian magazine.If you still have ***ions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact our office.Sincerely,
