Review: This type of complaint warrants an investigation. I took in my Iphone 5 C to get fixed. I returned two weeks later and was told my phone was unable to get fixed. I took my still broken phone and bought another I phone with my carrier service under my insurance. upon reciept of my new phone, I realized that my SIM card was not in my old phone so I used the new SIM card that came with the new phone and activated it through my service. a couple days later I was recieving texts and phone calls from random numbers. I eventually found out that the person I was talking to also went to this company and was given a replacement phone and replacement number to use temporarily while his phone was also being fixed at Dr. Apple. The phone and number he was given was my number. (an out of state number). All my calls, texts and emails were being sent to some person I have never met, via my number and SIM card, and phone. I complained to the owner and he didnt have anything to say. The other customer contacted me and told me they also went in to talk to the owner and the owner threatened to call the cops. I told the other customer that they should ask for their SIM card back and when they went in to the store the owner told them that it was thrown away. He offered them a SIM card from the bucket of SIM cards that they had. From my situation, this company is lending out phone numbers and phones that are supposedly "getting fixed" and allowing other customers to use SIM cards that belong to someone else.Desired Settlement: This warrants an investigation. I paid [redacted] dollars for a new phone when all along, my phone was fixed and given to another customer to use temporarily. I truly believe that many other customers have been affected by this company based on the way the owner talked to me and with how he responded to the customer that had my phone and also spoke to the owner.
