The response was given verbally to *** *** Revdex.com Staff from *** ***, Owner of DrAutoWe replaced the alternator on their vanThey picked the vehicle up and drove from French Lick IN back to Chicago and a fuse had blown and it was a heater circuit and the oxygen sensor had shorted out
which was unrelated to the alternator we replaced I talked to Mr*** and as far as I know everything is okay.We have the Nationwide warranty and I have since confirmed and given the *** a warranty company telephone number for future concernsIf we would have had the vehicle back to the garage we would have repaired under warranty.I've been in business years and never had a complaint, we just don't go around ripping people off, it's not what we do and we wouldn't have stayed in business for years if we were doing that. Hi J[redacted]This email is in response to the above ID # [redacted].  [redacted] purchased a 1998 Chev Blazier from Kenny, an employee of DR AUTO REPAIR approximately two moths ago for the sum of $2500.00 of which she paid him $2000.00 in cash with the balance due upon the completion of some...

minor repairs to the vehicle, the following repairs were honored1) Replaced  2 new front shocks2) Replaced  2 new rear shocks3) Replaced  1 new upper control arm ( R )4) Replaced  1new  lower    control arm    (R)5)  Replaced    1 new lower ball joint (L)6)  Replaced    2 new front shocks7) Replaced     2 new rear  shocks8) Replaced     2 new front bushins9) Repaired a slight leak to the exhaust system  10) Replaced a new catalytic converter[redacted] left the shop very happy and satisfied with the work we had honored. On 11/**/15 [redacted] came to the shop and requested her money back that she no longer needed the vehicle . She had owed Kenny $400.00 for repairs done to one of her previous cars of which was deducted from the $2000.00. I loaned Kenny $1600.00 to pay [redacted] and asked her to leave the vehicle with the registration on the premises. [redacted] took off with the cheque and the vehicle . Upon learning  she left with the vehicle I called the bank and placed a stop payment on the cheque. [redacted] returned the following day with her Uncle who threatened Kenny and the police were called in. [redacted] strikes me to be nothing but a scam artist . I have 4 witnessess who were present at the time of this transaction and are willing to give evidence should this matter go any further.[redacted] (###-###-####)

Review: Kenny an employee of Dr. Auto sold me a 1998 Chevy Blazer for $2000 cash, I was informed to drive the vehicle and check it out and anything that needed to be fixed will be taken care of. However, the vehicle has so many issues that are beyond repair. I informed him of such and he (Kenny) told me when the title comes back to bring it to him and he will give me my money back. However, when I came to him with the title he gave me a check for $1600.00, and when I left to go cash the check I was informed the check was cancel. When I contact Kenny and told him about the check he "The deal is off cause you didn't leave the car, and your on your own".Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my $2000 in full. (Cash)

Review: On September *, 2013 my vehicle was not performing right. I drove my vehicle to Dr. Auto's repair shop and after the mechanic, [redacted], checked my vehicle he diagnosed that the issue was dealing with the fuel pump. After a week and half of him having the vehicle, he told me to come pick it up. After picking it up and going to a gas station to try to put fuel in the car, I realized that the car was leaking fuel. Someone at the gas station had alerted me that there was gas flowing out from under the car and leaking on the ground. I then call the mechanic and informed him of this problem and he told me to bring the car to him that same day and I did. After inspecting the car, [redacted] and his fellow mechanics realized that the fuel was leaking because they failed to put the fuel gasket on. After this, there was a heavy smell of gas in my car for about three weeks that would be overwhelming at times. After this, I tried to bring the car to an Audi repair location to see if they could fix the continued issue that I was having. The personnel at Audi, as well as the warrant company, informed me that I had to take the car back to Dr. Auto as they were the ones who initiated the repairs. Therefore, I took my car back to Dr. Auto around November **, 2013 with the diagnostic report that the Audi of Brooklyn staff provided (as they had ran tests to see what was wrong with my vehicle) and [redacted] reviewing the report, stated that he would get the high pressure fuel pump that was needed. At this time, he had my car in his shop "working" on it for almost 4 weeks but the problem still was not fixed. I took the car back to [redacted] around December *, 2013 because it was still acting up and he told me that there was nothing else that he could do. Since this time , my vehicle has not been acting correctly( i.e shutting off by itself). I called [redacted] today, February **, 2014, to ask him about about the 12 month-12,000 mile warranty because there is suppose to be a warranty on the parts. I was told not to come to his shop and he is "done with my car".Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is for Dr. Auto to fix my car correctly and for my "Check Engine" light not to come on after I leave his shop. Also, I want him to honor the warranty pertaining to the parts used to fix my car.
