When a job is bid it is impossible to know what is underneath the ground until excavation. There is a disclaimer to this effect on the original contract myself, [redacted] and [redacted] signed. Four 30 yard dumpsters of machine chipped bamboo was removed from this property way beyond a fraction of the job, yet... more work was needed. After an hour tour of property with [redacted] and [redacted] they agreed to more work and a 2nd agreement was made by *** & [redacted] s for $6700.00 and signed by myself and *** & ***. When the 2nd agreement was signed a payment of $2500.00 for overcharges was due. This payment was not rec'd. Work continued for two more days at 2nd contract price of $600.00 per day. When [redacted] refused to still pay the $2500.00 owed work stopped. T $3700.00. As per [redacted] and ***'s request 170 ft of barrier was installed on property line and around shed. Normal price for this is $30.00 per running ft = $5100.00. If the $2500.00 was paid when due this job would long be complete. A total of $16,000 was rec'd from *** & [redacted] s NOT $18,500.00. I signed, dated with amount of each payment on original contract. I have a picture of front of contract where I signed but not back. Why will they not give me copy of the back of contract which would prove this? Or a copy of second contract they made up and I signed with *** and ***? Never was payment in full demanded. I would be glad to complete this job if they would simply adhere to agreed upon payment schedule and payments could be made by someone objective and I could have proof/ copies/photo's of payments.

The CLEAREST thing right now is [redacted] and or [redacted] are guilty of 2nd Degree Forgery,
Extortion, Breach of Contract and Deformation of Character.
I vacated the job at [redacted] on May [redacted], 2014 because for the third time the [redacted]s did
not make the payment schedule and I have not returned since.  On May [redacted], 2014 the date I supposedly
signed for a payment of $2500.00,  I was at [redacted] & [redacted]’s [redacted].
I HAVE NUMEROUS WITNESS’S THAT CAN ATTEST TO THIS.
On May [redacted] 2014, the [redacted]’s sent me a certified letter dated May [redacted], 2014 stating that they had paid
me $2500.00 on May [redacted], 2014. They sent you this letter. I am sending you a scan of the envelope dated
May [redacted], 2014. May [redacted] was the date my [redacted], [redacted] went to [redacted]
[redacted] to retrieve my tools.  [redacted] asked her to leave and refused to give her the
tools. [redacted] following protocol asked [redacted] to call the Riverhead Police and an Officer was dispatched
[redacted].  While attempting to put a roll of barrier in her truck [redacted] grabbed it
from her and dropped it on her toe. [redacted] took a picture of her toe on the front page of the
New York Post, May [redacted], 2014. I am only allowed 4 file but I have these pics.  She then brought my tools to [redacted]
[redacted] and my crew unloaded the tools in my presence.
I am including photo of original contract taken May *, 2014. The photographer [redacted] was
not aware I had also signed on the back.  It is noteworthy that the original contract shows no initials
os “[redacted]”.  The original contract copy that was sent to you also shows a forgery of a $2500.00 dated May
[redacted], 2014 of my signature.
The claims the [redacted]s are making are absurd. The job would long be complete if I had been paid the
agreed amount on schedule.  Money was the issue. I could no longer fund their job. [redacted] removed
the tools on May ** because the [redacted]’s once again breached the contract payment schedule on May [redacted], 2014.
At present the [redacted]’s owe me $5100.00 for 170ft of  installed barrier (hard goods) $2500.00 for overages
- $600 paid to B&L Dumpster $1900.00 + $1200.00 labor as per second agreement.  Total $8200.00.
Since there is no other more experienced bamboo removal expert on Long Island that I know of other
than myself and I have knowledge of the few others that do this work , I demand to see the invoice stating
my job would cost $16,500.00 to complete and the name of the supposed foreman defaming my name,
as to date the [redacted]’s are my only unsatisfied customers.
I am presently considering charges against  [redacted] for altering and forging my contract, as
shown by her initialing  “[redacted]” when I was not present and forging a supposed payment of $2500.00 on
May [redacted], 2014, when my tools were being picked up, a Police report was made and it is easily provable
I was in Plainview on that date.  Demanding payment for over the amount they actually owe me is
Extortion.  Stating other customers had a problem with me is “Deformation of Character” and easily
provable by my hundreds of satisfied customers. I would be glad to provide a long list to the Mediator,
to contact, and I would like to know how exactly I harassed the baby!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]
[redacted] signed and dated a contract VERY CLEARLY, which states that he had received $18,500. I also paid the dumpster company directly to remove the fourth dumpster from my property after [redacted] and his girlfriend, [redacted], breached said contract by removing all their tools off of our property and telling me they do not wish to work any longer. I paid $600 for the dumpster removal - which was supposed to be factored into the total amount of the job - bringing the total amount PAID up to $19,100. I told [redacted] on several occasions that money was not an issue and that we would gladly pay them, but they refused to return.
Additionally, we have brought in a second bamboo company (for which we will now need to pay $16,500 to complete the job), and they told us that they have serviced several clients who have had the same issues with Dr. Bamboo. According to the foreman of this job, [redacted] did not actually do anything of value on our property, and the new company will need to start entirely from scratch. Because of Dr. Bamboo's negligence, the bamboo has grown back tenfold.
I have also had to involve the police on two separate occasions, where [redacted] came to my property demanding money, and was instructed by the police to not return to our property. She did not adhere to this warning, and it has been instructed by the Riverhead Police that if [redacted] or [redacted] return to our property, they will be arrested for trespassing.
We have also received several threatening emails from [redacted] attempting to extort money from us, and the police have been involved in this matter, as well. The police have stated that if [redacted] or [redacted] contact us again, they will be arrested for aggravated harassment. We sent [redacted] and [redacted] a certified letter stating this. I also had my lawyer contact [redacted] and [redacted] about sending copies of any contract or document they may want, but they declined to respond. They also provided the name of a fake lawyer in an attempt to receive the documents directly, which we were instructed not to provide. We would have gladly forwarded anything we had to a lawyer after the police were here the first time.
In the document entitled "Letter from Dr. Bamboo", you can clearly see that I paid him the $2,500 [redacted] is stating I did not pay on May *, 2014. Additionally, I realized that [redacted] wrote the incorrect date on the payment of $2,500, stating I paid it on 5/**/2014, but the amount was actually paid 5/*/2014. I have also included another copy of the original contract.
My complaint has NOT been resolved because I have not received any money back, I have not had [redacted]t my property TO WORK, and I have not received any sort of justification or apology for this problem. In fact, my complaint also hasn't been resolved because I now need to spend another HUGE amount of money to actually remove the bamboo, which Dr. Bamboo never actually did. I have lost $19,100 to a person who has only harassed myself and my 3-month-old son and attempted to extort money from myself and my husband, and all I want is for this matter to be resolved as soon as possible so I can never see this man and his girlfriend again.

Review: [redacted] of Dr. Bamboo drastically underquoted the excavation of bamboo on our property, and has refused to reach an agreement on a fair price to finish the job multiple times. At first, [redacted] said the job would take five days. It has now been a month of problems that have ruined our property. Him and his workers have now refused to finish or clean up the massive amount of garbage and dirt around the property, and have - more than once - taken their equipment off the job site. In the past month, since we first signed a contract with this company, him and his workers have not shown up for work several times, and [redacted] and his business partner, [redacted], have demanded money from us - despite the fact that they will not work for several days before OR after we give them an agreed upon amount. [redacted] has already collected $18,500 from us, but has only completed a small fraction of the work needed - and as a result, bamboo has started to sprout up in areas that did not previously have bamboo. [redacted] and [redacted] have sent harassing emails and have called us threatening to not come back to the job unless we give them more money. Despite our efforts to come to a monetary agreement to simply finish the project, [redacted] and [redacted] are in absolute breach of contract, and refuse to come back to the site to finish what they started. Finally, we drew up a contract, which [redacted] signed and agreed to, but he has now decided that the monetary amount is insufficient. [redacted] and [redacted] believe that we should pay for the entire job IN FULL before it is completed, despite NYS law. The remaining payment we have is $3,600. We have called, emailed, and texted them to try to figure out the best way to end this dispute, but our efforts come to no avail. They simply refuse.Desired Settlement: We would like [redacted] and his company to cease work on our property, and pay to have another company finish the project that Dr. Bamboo has been unable to complete. The dollar amount would be exact to the amount paid to another company.
