Spoke with the receptionist via phone and asked if they could replace the fuel pump on my car; she stated that she would check and call me back. She called back and said that they could do the repair for $288 since I already had the part. She said bring the car up Monday or Tuesday of the next week and I had it towed there that Tuesday. After they looked at the car she called me back and said that they could do it but for $388 because the seat was broken. A week later I received another call and was told that they could do it for $600 because they needed to replace the seat rail. I agreed and took them a seat rail for the repair. While at the shop they gave me a laundry list of things that they wanted to repair on the car and wanted me to let them know what repairs that I wanted done. I told them none for now just do the fuel pump and the rail. A few days later they called and said that it was the wrong rail and; I told them that I would get the correct rail and bring it. A couple days later I get the new rail and take it to the shop. I was told that they would have it done later that day of the next day. I get a call from them a couple days later saying that they could fix the car for an additional $249. I said no and wanted to speak to the owner. I spoke with him on the phone and told him that I did not appreciate him trying to cheat me. I told him I would not pay any more than the agreed price. I go to pick up my car and the owner says the only reason that he added the last price increase is because they never agreed to install the seat that they removed. When I informed him that I had came twice and bought the seat rails he just walked away. I got home and noticed that my top was damaged and a few days later noticed that the car was leaking fluid. This is one of the repairs that he was trying to convince me to have.

Refund I would like a full refund and the cost of the damage to my car top. Also pay for whatever they did to cause my car to start leaking. I have all the maintenance records done to this car and I'm sure that he deliberately damaged the vehicle. I'm getting ready to hire an attorney.
We went above and beyond our customary service procedures by allowing *** to bring in all of his own parts. By doing this, it allowed him to save on costs, however, it also caused his car to stay with us longer than anticipated. Initially he brought us the wrong parts, therefore we had to wait longer for him to bring us the correct parts. This was the only reason for the delay in him getting his car back. The statements that he made about the price increase are simply false. As with all of our customers, we called and explained the cost of all repairs before we began working on his car, and he agreed. When our technicians did the inspection on his car, we found coolant leaks and oil leaks. We sent this estimate to***, but he refused to have those leaks repaired. We have sent you a copy of our messages with*** where it states that he declined to repair those leaks. And in regards to his convertible top, we didn't do any work to his top at all.
We pride ourselves on customer service and honesty. We are driven by, and focused on customer satisfaction. In the event that there is ever an unhappy customer, we do whatever it takes to ensure that our customer leaves 100% satisfied. However, we were not given that chance with ***. Instead, he came into our business, called us out of our name in front of other customers, and refused to approach the situation in a mature manner in order to clarify any misunderstanding. We wish we could've found common grounds, and tried our best to do so. We hope your interpretation of events doesn't impair the upstanding reputation we've worked hard to build.
