Review: */4/14 Truck was in for a complete brake job by GBE Automotive. Total Cost $1,117.61 **/6/14 Truck taken to repair shop for brake problems. Was told truck would need repairs, the same repairs that were supposedly already done. I went to see how this could be possible myself, and there is no way rear brakes on truck were worked on by GBE automotive. Both myself and mechanics agree that with normal wear in this time, my vehicle could not have possibly had this amount of wear and bad parts.

Have been in contact with [redacted] "[redacted]." He has delayed getting this problem fixed, and does not understand that parts were never put on my vehicle at his shop (He thinks that I should have a complete brake job like this twice in a year as a normal). He has hung-up on me making him not able to communicate with, so I am having to go through the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: We know for sure the rear brakes were not repaired as paid for by GBE automotive (Not sure about front brakes, which is why I am not bringing them up). This is a list of the items not done on the receipt by GBE for sure (that had to be replaced again), as well as their cost.

We have reviewed the work and spoken to the [redacted] of [redacted] and the accusations you are making are incorrect. Your vehicle was in for brake repairs on */4/14 at that time it received front pads and rotors and rear shoes and wheel cylinders the rear drums were turned/resurfaced. All that work was performed on the rear due to a brake fluid leak. The front repairs were due to wear. The vehicle left and apparently you drove it for 9 months with no leaks from the rear or issues( which you are stating we never worked on). You took the vehicle to [redacted] for a front brake issue which he said was the front calipers locked up keeping the brakes engaged which wore the fronts out. Which is not something that we replaced you received pads and rotors not calipers. The pads wore up front due to the calipers hanging up keeping pressure on them. While at the other repair shop he said he found 1 bad rear wheel cylinder. That was replaced and would have been covered under warranty had you brought the vehicle to our facility or the part in for exchange. On the disclaimer at the bottom of all invoices it clearly states warranty work is performed in house at our location we do not give refunds because hearsay is unreliable. Your other option was to have [redacted] exchange the part for a new one under the manufacturer warranty period. Unfortunately you did neither and just demanded we give you a refund and that is outside of our policies.
