Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center

Review: My children were last seen nine years ago at Dr Camps office. All charges and fees were paid for at the time of service. I never received any bill from Dr Camps office showing a balance and never received any collection notices. Recently, I pulled a credit report and there are two items from Dr Camps office showing up on credit report. I called the office and they could provide no information regarding the collection. No balance or statement information. There billing agency could not provide any information. I requested in writing that the items be removed from the credit report and the billing service stated that they would not remove items because the debt valid even though the balance listed was $0 and we had not incurred any charges since 2003. I have gone around in circles for six months with Dr. Camps office and there billing service with no resolution to their billing error and it is affecting my credit score.Desired Settlement: I want the two negative items removed from all three credit reporting agenies immediately as we are trying to refinance our home and apply for college loans. In addition, I want a letter from botj the dentist office and the billing service acknowledging the account as paid in full.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as I receive a copy from collection agency that there is no balance due and credit reporting agencies are updated.
