I came to their office in January 2020 because the dental office next door to
them was closed.
I asked the front desk person if you take anthem, she said yes.
I had a cleaning done, and some films were taken because I was a 1st
time patient.
A couple of weeks later I received a bill from them which was $170, much
higher than my usual $10 teeth cleaning copay with anthem
dental. I called their office to inquire, and the person who answered
the phone said that it was probably higher because of the films that
were taken.
Now I came in on 7/15/20, got a cleaning, and wanted to make my usual
$10 copay before leaving, and it was then that the front desk person
said that they're not in the anthem network.
So this means that I was lied to twice by their office. The first time
that I came in in January, and on the phone when I inquired about the
high bill for that same visit.
Aug 2020 = received bill for 2nd visit = $116.

The businesses' response is false. As stated in my complaint, I was told by 2 employees at the business, on 2 different occasions, that they accept my anthem health insurance.
