Review: I am a patient calling the office about my bill. The person handling the accounts would not talk to me about the bill and telling the receptionist that she is unavailable. When you can hear the person in the background telling the person that she is busy. I am a patient trying to take care of a bill and to be disrespected and hung up on is not good business practices. My insurance should have covered this bill and I have connected my insurance company about this bill, the insurance company is saying that is it being coded wrong and they will take care of it if it were coded correctly.Desired Settlement: They code the bill correctly so that insurance company will cover the bill.

I am the person she is talking about and she heard the radio in the back ground. I was in another office. This patient has called and threatened me that she "was not afraid to go to jail", her daughter was the old office mgr that we let go in March 2015 for fraud and embezzlement and this family has harassed us every since. And I have talked to the insurance company and they say she is responsible for the bill because the appointment was before coverage began. I am sending what we received from the insurance and we also sent to her.Thank youDr. Schlabach's Office

In response to complaint ID [redacted]. The response from the firm is untrue. It was not the radio in the background. If I have a question about my bill the person handling the insurance should come to phone and talk to me, I have not received a detailed bill nor anything from the insurance company stating this bill was my responsibility. I also have not contacted them until I received the billing statement that was not detailed just had what I owed. I tried to get this matter taken care of back in July when I received the first bill and gave them the correct insurance information for them to submit to correct insurance number. My Insurance number changed as of January 1, 2015.This visit should have been submitted under the old insurance number and it would have been taken care of. Thanks [redacted]
