The dentist office lied to me when I
specifically asked if the deposit was refundableThat's
advertisementFirst, I was told that it was refundableThe lady
went to the extend of saying that while she had been there years,
she had never seen anyone not get their deposit backSecond, I was
never called by the anesthesiologist, I had to call himWhen we
spoke, it was he that determined that it would be best to not go
ahead with the procedure since my son was running a feverWhen I
contacted the office, I was told that my money would not be refunded
though it was their anesthesiologist that canceled, and though my son
received no services on the day in questionIt was only because I
filed complaints with the Revdex.com and my credit card company that they
refunded itAnd third, they have also not helped me with giving me a
copy of the x-rays that they took of my sonWhen I asked them about
the cost of getting the x-rays, which were paid in full by my
insurance company, I was told in an email that there would be no
costThey however keep insisting that I need to sign a consent form
that specifies that there is a charge and they don't disclose the
amount of itI still need a copy of the x-raysI just don't know how
to make them keep their word as they stated in their emailI've
already been lied to by this officeI can't trust anything they tell

Dear Revdex.com sans-serif;">Our office does request a 500.00 deposit to reserve an appointment for a day when a Board Certified Anesthesiologist is scheduled for their child.  This is a non refundable deposit should the patient fail the appointment.  If a patient is sick on the day they are scheduled, we offer the next available appointment. We offered June 2nd.  The patient's father said he would have to check at his work if he could get that day off because he was just returning to work after surgery.  He never scheduled a return appointment . We refunded his credit card 500.00 on 5/26/15

Review: After having x-rays taken for my son, Which were paid by my insurance, I was told I needed to pay $500 to schedule the next appointment for my 5 yr old. I asked if the money was refundable. I was told by the lady that took the card that she had been there 35 years and that she had never seen anyone not get their money back. She assured me that there would be no problem getting the money back, specially if it was the anesthesiologist that cancelled for any reason he saw fit. The night before the procedure, the anesthesiologist cancelled because he felt my son needed to be taken to his pediatrician since he was sick and was running a fever. The $500 charge went through, and when I called and inquired about it, I was told that it was non-refundable and that it would "roll over" to another future appointment date, however, their next date is not until another month. They refuse to reimburse the $500 even though no services were rendered aside from the ones covered by my insurance, and even though they were the ones that cancelled.Date of Purchase/Incident: 05/12/2015/05/14/2015/ Requested Resolution: Reverse charge of $5OO.00 as no services were rendered aside from the x-rays and visit which are already 100% covered by my dental insurance.Supporting Documents: Credit card statement showing the charge went through.Previous Review: Yes reference number is: [redacted] for a complaint filed with the federal trade commission for falsely advertising (telling me) that there would be no problem getting the money back.Desired Settlement: Refund
