on 10/11/I went into Super website to reserve a room for 10/13/and checkout on 10/14/when confirmation was emailed it gave me check in at 10/11/and check out on Friday 10/12/which was in errorI was still in El Paso TX and at work so I immediately called Super within the hour cancellation policy and redid the correct reservation, the customer service representative stated just call the hotel directly to make sure your reservation is confirmed so I did I spoke to Neal at [redacted]  it was very difficult to understand him and I had to ask him to keep repeating himself he had a very strong language barrier so I would repeat stuff he would say and he was getting very very frustrated and upset All I wanted to ask him that my credit card was already charged $dollars and I wanted to the pay the difference in cash when I got their, but he did not understand me and I definitely did not understand him he was getting very upset so I just told him nevermind

Saturday 2/17/around 8pm I checked into the Super hotelI gave my debit card to the woman at the counter, and she charged me for a night’s stay The next day, after I had already left the hotel and checked out, a man called me on my cell phone telling me that there was a complaint and that I needed to go back to the hotel to take care of the situation Upon my arrival, I encountered who I think was the manager of the hotel He was very rude and told me that there was a smell of smoke in the room we were in last night My family and I had stayed in the room and we are nonsmokers, so initially we got ourselves a nonsmoking room for this reason As I followed the man down the hallway towards the room, he told me that the smell of smoke lingered in the hall

On June 16, my husband and I booked a room at Super Motel through Wyndhamrewards.com for a one night stay at Super motel in Ruidoso, NMI paid $with my debit card for the room and paid $cash for my two small dogs We were given a room by one of the entrances where people entered the motel regularly and my dogs barked when they heard the noiseAfter resting for a awhile, my husband and I decided to go out for dinner and left our two dogs in the bathroom secured by a pet gateI was not given a receipt upon registration, and forgot to ask for one due to being exhausted after days of travelingThe following morning at checkout, the manager informed me that my dogs had been barking while we were out and that she had called me My phone was discharged and I couldn't get the callShe pointed to a sign that was barely visible and obscured by a tall plant and said you can't leave dogs alone in the roomI apologized and she said "It's OK." Three hours after checking out and being on the road many miles away, an additional $was debited from my account I called the manager to inquire about this debit She rudely told me that I had left my dogs alone in the room and her policy was that pets could not be left alone in the room and that is why she withdrew the additional $ I told her that I wasn't aware of that policy and I would file a complaintShe rudely said, "You do that" and hung upThe Pet Policy on the website never mentions that dogs can't be left alone in a secure setting It only specifies a $charge per petI wasn't given a copy of the so called policy upon checking in, and unfortunately I failed to ask for my receipt due to being so tired from traveling This is the first time this has happened to me and I have stayed in many motels with my pets before this one We have left them secured in the bathroom before and no other motel has ever penalized me for a barking dog, which is what dogs naturally doI hear other dogs all the time when we stay in a pet friendly motel I am appalled at being charged this outrageous fee from a motel that advertises being pet friendly I didn't know that motels could penalize customers for barking dogs They bark when they hear a noise outside the door even when we are in the room They should not advertise "Pet Friendly" if they are going to penalize owners of pets for their dog's barking The motel manager could have told me that she would be withdrawing this additional amount when I checked out, but she waited until we were many hours away from the motel to debit the additional $ As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I find this type of business practice to be unscrupulous I am writing this review to warn other unsuspecting customers traveling with pets that they may find themselves victimized by this type of business practice from this particular Super motel in Ruidoso, New Mexico In total, I paid $for a one night stay at a Super motel For this amount of money I could have stayed in a Star HotelNeedless to say, I will never do business with this motel ever again

we booked the super through Hotels.com, when we got to the hotel to check in it smelled like marijuanaWe thought maybe it was just when we walked it, so we continued our check inAfter we walked up to the room the marijuana smell got strongerSince we were there with our children and I’m pregnant we didn’t feel like we should have to stay in a hotel that smells like an illegal drug!! We went to talk to the front office they agreed about the smell but refused to refund us our money since it was booked through hotels.com
They said we could call them and deal with hotels.com, so we did call hotels.com while still at super and hotels.com said they would call the Super manager PooK*** and she said super would not allow hotels.com the waiver to cancelIt was not Super problem
So we did not receive a refund through super or hotels.com
The manager was very rude and said she did not care about the smell, we could just deal with itI did call the local police a
