Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Dear [redacted] KSL's response is a complete fabrication with the exception of admitting to the necessity of multiple service calls after they replaced our existing skylights and roof.KSL never mentioned in any conversation that tree branches caused damage to the roofIs it their contention that branches fell in such a way as to cause the same damage to each skylight? There are trees on sides of our home which never created any problems for our original roof and skylights installed in and lasted until Two of the largest trees were taken down in to allow more sun on the deck below. At no time has another contractor performed repairs to our skylights or roof nor has any employee from KSL's multiple service calls ever voiced this suspicionSeveral years ago, I applied caulk around the skylights in a futile effort to stop the leaking after KSL had made one of their service calls which did not correct the problem.Respectfully yours, [redacted] New information provided by the customer: Subject: Re: Revdex.com Complaint ID # [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] ,After receiving separate estimates of the cost to repair our roof and skylights, please revise our estimate to $9,which is an average of the three quotes plus the cost to replace the ruined mattresses. We also now have several pictures of the damage clearly showing the bellying behind the skylights and the improperly installed shingles.Thank you for your consideration of this matter.Sincerely, [redacted]

Attention [redacted] :complaint # ID [redacted] I am rejecting the companies response for the following reasons:Kurt, the company owner and installer of the new roof, never came to my residence to inspect the roofInstead he sent two employees who were told to fix the leak above the front door That is the only problem they worked onThe rotted plywood on the corner of the enclosed porch that was never replaced during the original roof job in was again not replacedThe worker told me they didn't have Kurts permission to do thatI also have a leak halfway up the ceiling which started about months ago, and a couple of other leaks that started 1-months ago The worker told me he could not find out where the leak was coming from so he did nothing.I told the worker to tell Kurt that I still needed the problems taken care of I was expecting a follow up call about the work and if I was satisfied but never received it I was surprised to get the letter fromthe Revdex.com because not all of the problems have been corrected.Thank you, [redacted]

ID [redacted] Attention: [redacted] In response to the letter dated 10/20/ Michelle, from KSL Plumbing and Remodeling Inc., contacted me October I was told that Kurt would come to my home sometime the week of October Michelle informed me that he planned to spray water on the roof to see if it leaked I heard nothing from Michelle the next week so on Friday October 28, I called Michelle to find out why Kurt didn't arrange to check the roof as planned She explained that he was really busy with work and family issues but assured me that I was "on the board" to be seen I then told Michelle that, with the recent rain, I have fresh water stains on my ceiling. So as of this point Kurt has not been to my home since he put the roof on in January 2009, in spite of numerous calls yearly on my part to have the problems addressed I am extremely stressed over thisI had thought that in getting a new roof put on, I would not have to worryInstead I now have water leaks in places I didn't have before and years of unanswered callsIt will soon be years of frustrationI just wish that, at this point, Kurt would return the $3,that I paid him so that I can break off any further communications with this company, and put it towards the cost of hiring someone else to replace the entire roofWho knows what damage has been done to the plywood under the shingles, to the insulation and ceiling tiles after years of water seepageFor all I know there could be black mold growing and every time I change ceiling fixtures, I'm breathing in spores[redacted]

Unfortunately this was a small oversight on our part The customer has been contacted and we were able to go out and re-adjust the flashing and the problem has been corrected Customer was told if she has any problems to contact us

KSL will not be held
responsible for any roofing at this residence. We did make a few service calls to the house and have all the pictures for documentation, large tree branches had fallen on the roof damaging multiple areas. It also appears that another contractor, or someone at some point, did additional work on the roof after KSL . Therefore this roof warranty was voided and will stay voided

this is not correct..I was dealing w janet to build a porch roof and wood deck system, janet changed her mind on style of deck times upgrading to more complicated work each time, then she is trying to tell me what shes gonna pay ,meto do this work,I did not have a contract with janet,I did more work
than what she paid me for and at this point I have called my attorney ,one she still owes a balance for work ive done and also she is defimating my character,I no longer wish to do any further work for janet and this is why shes mad,im not obligated to any more work for her I can refuse new jobs at my discretion, and due to her being extremely difficult and demanding will not continue any further,I completed what bi agreewd upon and have no other business with her ...the job shes requesting is about a weeks worth of work with guys and she is demanding I do it for 500.00 this is absurd

DBA KSL Plumbing IncJames St.Latrobe, PA 15650724-539-[office] 724-972-[cell)PA 00655111/4/15To whom it may concern:fn response to a complaint made by *** *** *** *** *** Greensburg, PAWe first initially got a call from *** and made an appointment at her house to look at some work she wanted doneThe work consisted of the following: removing an existing front deck and porch roof from the home ar.d constructing a new wood deck with a roof overThis would consist of us setting load bearing support-posts between the new deck and the porch roof after all construction was completeOnce agreed upon I prepared an estimate which we brought on the first day of work at ***’s home to find that *** had changed her mind and wanted to do a concrete pad instead of the wooden deckSo now we are removing existing structure and building the porch roofWe had this finished the following day and *** paid in full for the porch roof portion of the jobShe was trying to see if her sister would [end her the money for the difference of the concrete upgradeNow while she is deciding I experienced an overwhelming amount of text messages and phone calls from *** with many different ideas she was coming up withI then went to her residence three times going over what KSL was willing and able to do*** basically told me now she did not want the concrete to be laid on the ground as because she did not want a step to the front doorShe now wanted decorative block perimeter installed, the entire porch hole filled in with tons o^fill, tamped solid, a bed of gravel installed and the concrete now poured in this area*** also insisted that I do all this extra work for $I shrugged it off as oh yeah, sureIt even became a joke between us that she would give me $and a blizzard from *** *** for ItShe states that her porch roof is supported by lumber, yes the porch roof is supported with 2xframing lumber and secureThis was because we built the porch roof over anticipating that after the deck was constructed that we were then gohg to install load bearing aluminum posts which *** in fact ordered and called me because she ordered them to short knowing she needed them to be longer because they would be going to the ground, not an elevated structureWe simply were helping *** the best we could and the fact of the matter is we built the porch roof which is very well done and were only paid for this part of the projectWe at KSL like to help everyone we can but we do not feel comfortable with ***'s project layout, we would rather not attempt something we are unsure ofWe have no hard feelings with ***, we Have helped *** from day one and we ask *** to find somebody who is comfortable with installing the concrete per her requestShe still has the remainder of her money, aside from the porch roof, to finish this project with. Sincerely,Kurt ** ***

AS to the installation dates, I have cancelled checks from 4/to6/As for the last repair date, to our best recollection, it was August or September ofWe did not keep accurate records because every time they would show up, we thought the problem would be fixed

Upon the complaint filed we went to ***'s house to fix the issue. We were unaware that there was still more concerns but we are calling her today to get this complaint resolved for her. Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In response to MrL*** remarks I would like to comment on themFirst of all he was suppose to do the roof, take down the existing deck, put up downspouts an guttersput up the structural poststake out a door on the upper level which was a balcony door and remove it along with fixing it inside the house with drywall.? Do the electrical, let me explainthere were two lights one above the balcony and lower level on front door light that was to be removed and taken out, then put electrical? lights in the ceiling of the new roof when builtI had bought all the materials for MrL*** to do the jobThe total of I had given him Theonly thing that he did was the roof downspouts and gutters, which mind you they leak and are not put on correctlythe downspouts when they left did not deter the water away from the house and my basement flooded because of itWhy does MrL*** think he deserves when he never finishedhe states that he came to my house three times after we had talked on the phone about the deck optionsMind you he agreed to the changeWhen he had given me the bid of more dollars I had asked him if he could do it for less say around he also had agreed to thati have texts to prove it allthe joke about the *** ***he made a? s tatement that he was going to be in the area that day and I offered to buy him lunch at dairy queenno he wanted a blizzardthat is how it got startedHe had only come to my house once after the changes were madebrought gordon with himMy brother in law was there and witnessed it allIf MrL*** had no intenetions on wanting to finish the job then why did MrL*** asked me for more money? I had told him I would not until the job was completedHe rambled on something about the state of pa and one third down then two thirds and then final paymentIt's so? ironic that he is worried about pa laws but yet would never give me a contract which is pa lawsWhich is required by the state of PaAnd I did not ask my sister for the moneyI had told him that my sister and I were talking and she was going to give me the difference of as a gift to help her little sister out.? He had also stated that the roof was done the next dayThat is definitely not true at allLike my original complaint they were late the first day because mrl*** slepted indid not come on tuesdaywednesday a young man came and tore down the front deckthey never started on the roof till later part of that week and was at my house the following week as well for a couple daysAlso the roof is held up by by not by What was said to me by some contractor was that they should of put byattached to them so the by won't bowMrL*** thinks they did a great job but in reality that is not soIt is not by no means so why would MrL*** think he deserves percent of my money? I have all the texts to prove everything including him saying "I' can do that for you"Please don't be mad at me"? TRying to find someone to do the block work my guy has broken? his leg from quad.? Another text: Finally cleared up I'm comin to see you tomorrow don't hate me i'm not blowing you offso? lets make a game planI could go on and on with the texts.I totally do not agree with MrL*** responsehe is not entitled to keep my The work was never completedRegards,*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In response to Mr. L[redacted] is totally incorrect. I did not change my mind 3 times and make more complicated work. when I asked Mr. L[redacted] about changing the deck to cement he was totally aware of what I wanted. He totally agreed with it and also the block work. IF he did not want to proceed with the job then why did he bring a cement guy to my house and discuss the cement.  and why did Mr. l[redacted] demand more money from me. and when I told Mr. L[redacted] that I would not give him anymore money till the job was finished he came into my face and said pa laws you have to pay one third  down to start. I gave him more than half of the money for the job. Was Mr. L[redacted] planning on taking the rest of my money and never coming back. Why would he wanted more money if he was not planing on coming back? The employees when they left  they did not deter the downspouts to go away from the house only for the water to go directly into my basement . The gutters both leak and he is aware of it also. When they held up the roof with 2 by six lumber they didn't bother to put a 2 by 4 so the 2 by 6 does not bow and my roof will begin to fall. I do not want him or his employees back in my home. I am requesting full refund back to me. He did no way any 3500 worth of work. I had bought all the materials that was agreed upon. If Mr. L[redacted] does not agree then we will be going to civil court. I will be asking for damages along with what it will cost for me to finish the job if he does not refund my money. I have witnesses along with texts from Mr. L[redacted]. I have tried to work with Mr. L[redacted]. Been very patient. Tired of his excuses.  He walked over the job over two months ago.
