Their office quoted us $238.44 that we would owe out of pocket for 4 wisdom teeth to be removed. We made the appointment and I paid them that amount the morning of the surgery. Weeks later they said they didn't take the insurance card we gave them, it was our medical card and that didn't cover oral surgery. So they quoted us the $238.44 without even checking our insurance. So weeks after the procedure was done we got a bill for an additional $928.56 after they submitted it to our dental insurance. I feel they did not do their due diligence before giving us the quote for our out of pocket costs.

Billing Adjustment Come to some compromise on the remaining balance of the bill.
Our office does rely on our patients to present current and accurate insurance information. We base our co-pays on the plan presented. Our office billed the plan that was presented to us and found that the insurance was not correct. That of course changed the co-pay information.
