Review: There were multiple issues with this practice, they sent me to the wrong place and 2 weeks too early for my 2nd trimester ultrasound which could mean serious complications for my child. I was overcharged by their practice on multiple occasions but my reason for my complaint with the Revdex.com is that this practice wrote on my Diagnostic Screen booklet for me and verbally told me that the Diagnostic screen for my baby would only cost $162, they assured me it wouldn't cost any more that that so I agreed to this elective screening. I later found out it would cost me over $1,000 ($162 for the state, $295 for my first diagnostic ultrasound, $595 for my second diagnostic ultrasound and $167 for blood work). I contacted the office multiple times immediately following finding out the cost and multiple people at the practice (Jody, Cindy and Michelle) assured me that I would not have to do the diagnostic screen yet they mistakenly sent my information off to the California Department of Public Health and I received a bill for the services I requested to deny and multiple people at the practice affirmed that they would ensure I didn't have to move forward with the Diagnostic Screen but sent my information off anyway. I now have an outstanding balance with the California Department Of Public Health for services in the amount of $162 for a service I denied and was assured would not be charged. I met with the office manager, Eric White with a long letter detailing my issues and he told me he would be in contact with me before the end of the week (August 22). On August 22nd he emailed me stating he had not received any answers from the state or the ultrasound company yet I contacted both the parties and both confirmed that he nor anyone at the practice contacted them to resolve my issue. I emailed Eric to follow up on August 26th and he never replied to me.Desired Settlement: I've contacted the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) & they said all they need is a letter from the office notifying them that I should not be charged for this service. To avoid further action, I am requesting they contact Juana at the CDPH to notify them that I was misinformed and incorrectly billed(account number: 2010945)so my issue will be resolved.
