I I [redacted] took my Land Rover down to Dr Imports I had problem after problem.Take my car in for suspention light on go to pick up my car light is on again.But they tested it still not fixed.I live miles from there business.My Son in law Carlos goes with me to see if he can fix the problem because we feel they don't know what there are doingThey offer him a application to work there he is just trying to help.I Figured they needed some help.I Trusted these people they would fix my car.I think there should be a sign stating that they can't work on a Land Rovers of any type.The amount of the money I paid is wrong on there part it was not what they stated is wrong,I also got a voicemail from [redacted] the owner to retract my statement on Tuesdayand he made a comment about what I do for a livingMy concern is my car really fixed the light is off also the year warranty after all this moneyWould I recommend this business noI don't want this to happen to anyone else ***

*** brought her 2006 Land Rover in to
Dr Import for suspension failure. Upon computer diagnosis, we had to start with
the air suspension compressor and was noted to be failing and was replacedDr
Import also performed an oil service, replaced a dirty cabin air
filter, and
renewed worn brake fluid. Shortly after *** picked up her Land Rover,
the suspension light came on again.
Needing further diagnosis, *** was given a lengthy ride home at no
charge. With air compressor now working,
several other fault codes appeared. The
main fault code was C1A13-64. Upon
further examination, battery acid was found to havc leaked on transfer case
control module, destroying that module.
*** was continually questioning all reports and said she didn’t have
the money to pay for extra repairs. She
didn’t believe the report and said she had a son-in-law who was a mechanic and
wanted him to come down to ‘see’ if what we were telling her was the
truth. He came down twice in the next
week and was completely satisfied that we were not taking advantage of
***. WE replaced the acid eaten
transfer case control module. The bill
was now at a total of $dollars for all services performed. A new challenge appeared, after hours the
system suspension system would not hold pressure. Dr Import , at no charge, performed an
isolated test on the pressure galley solenoid assembly. It operated well. We went ahead and disassembled the assembly
and cleaned it, to make sure there wasn’t any debris left behind from the
failed compressor replacement. As per
Land Rover factory information, we
reloaded the software for the ride level module. The suspension then operated very well. *** ***’s Land Rover suspension is
repaired and at this time is functioning.
Dr Import didn’t charge *** for
these extra services beyond the $.
Dr Import spent over hours of
computer and technician diagnostic time to solve ***’s complaints, even
though *** threatened not to pay any more than $3300. There also were many hours spent on the phone
with *** and more hours spent with her son-in-law, explaining the technical
and mechanical findings. He was very
understanding, while *** was angry and emotional. Every time I tried to explain our findings to
*** she said she didn’t want to hear
about the problems, “just fix my car” and “I’ll not pay anything above $3300”. The
total bill should have been in the $range however, because of ***’s
constant complaints, Dr Import honored the original $estimate

I called on October 19 and talked to mark it took 3 hours for him to get back to me . The suspention light keeps going on and off he said he had to call Land Rover to find out. I never heard from him again.They can't fix my car I just want my money back.They said they could fix it.I have 3 young kids in my car which I told him. I just want my money back this is bad business. I will leave this up for everyone to see until this is settled. [redacted]
