She charged me for sets of invisilign retainers which I never received which I told never had the right mold and charged me $for this I never received these retainers and she said she would cut me a check at the beginning of January She never did and won't return my phone calls I found out she has a very bad reputation in her business

Review: She charged me for 4 sets of invisilign retainers which I never received which I told never had the right mold and charged me $750 for this. I never received these retainers and she said she would cut me a check at the beginning of January. She never did and won't return my phone calls. I found out she has a very bad reputation in her business.Desired Settlement: I want a check for $750 for retainers I never received.

Review: I called to make first apt for braces. I had a coupon but didn't know where it was and [redacted] told me it was good I called as I had to give her my credit card down payment (2000.00) that night to get the coupon. I made apt and payment and then found out results of MRI on my neck were very serious and I was not capable of sitting in dentist chair or going through procedures probably for a minimum of several months. I emailed 2x and called asap and asked for a full refund as we did not meet, make arrangements, measurements, signs contracts or do any business whatsoever. I wanted my money refunded and even said I planned to come back when healed but did not want this charge on my credit card and was very unsure of how dangerous my neck injury truly is. I was first met with resistance, then super sweet talk on how I would be refunded as soon as Christmas over. That day has passed. No response to email or phone calls and no refunds for no services. Completely holding my money for nothing. And I found the coupon and surprise there is no expiration date. Snake oil sales people. Unfortunate that I was planning to be a future customer. Lucky I guess for me I found out now so when I heal I can find a legit business. [redacted] also told me the Dr. response was that she did not see how a neck injury was a problem sitting in a dentist chair. Unprofessional and not her call to make. They have my 2000.oo for NOTHING.Desired Settlement: I would like my 2000.00 refunded asap. They have caused emotional distress added to my injury and I would like this complaint to stay on the record for future customers to see and beware.

October **, 2013 - [redacted] had Zoom teeth whitening done in our Woodbury, NY office by [redacted] and was given a coupon/gift certificate for $1000 off futu re orthodontic treatment

December **, 2013 - [redacted] called stating that she was in an accident and may not be able to

come in before the end of the year and is interested in orthodontic treatment. [redacted], who recently joined us, stated that she could and would honor 2013's mthodontic prices if she puts a deposit on her treatment, which is the usual and customary deposit in our office for Invisalign orthodontic treatment. It had nothing to do with any expiration dates. This way [redacted] could concentrate on getting better and come into the office in 2014 and her same 2013 fees would be honored.

put $2000 on her credit card and arrangements made for monthly payments of 12 months @ $341.70

December **, 2013 - called the office and we were closed for our end of the year computer training

& holiday vacation. [redacted] was at the airport on her way to Missouri and returned [redacted]'s phone call from her cell phone. [redacted] stated that she was not in the office and did not have the authority for a refund but that we will take care of it when we returned to the office in January.

December **, 2013 - [redacted] called [redacted] on her cell phone Christmas eve stating that she needed her refund immediately. Again,

[redacted] stated that she was not in the office and did not have the authority for refunds but that we would take care of it when we return to the office in January.

January *, 2014 - at the end of the day, [redacted] reviewed my messages with me. [redacted] was one of them. I approved the $2000 refund.

January *, 2014 -

[redacted] sent an email (see below) to [redacted] stating that we were refunding the $2000.

[redacted] accidentally refunded $876 because of our transaction/merchant account number.

January **, 2014 - [redacted] received an email from Mmy [redacted]. (see below)

January **, 2014 - I called [redacted] at home (who had her baby on October **, 2013) and asked her to log into the Woodbmy, NY computer and correct the rest of the refund.

[redacted] reverse additional $1124 which totals $2000

In summmy I wish [redacted] nothing but the utmost best and hope that she considers our practice in the future. She is free to contact my Woodbmy office, anytime, at [redacted]

There is a refund of only 876.00 on my account which has now gone through into interest. Please refund the balance of the 2000.00 asap. You have caused immense mental stress to add to this physical damage which has not improved at all. You keep promising and I would appreciate a total follow through so I can relax and know it is done.

So sorry to take such a long time to get back with you but I had a family emergency

in Missouri and didn't get back to work until this week. [redacted] was out of town and has the authority to access return credit card information that I didn't know about since I'm relatively new. I was able to get that information today and I returned your $2000 down payment. I want to let you know that I wrote in the

charts that I am freezing your $1000 coupon from [redacted] and your 2013 Invisalign costs that we discussed earlier. So when you are well you will have the same offer and your treatment cost will remain the same and not reflet the 2014 increases.

I truly hope your journey to recovery is short.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I am happy that the 2000.00 has been returned as of last night. However the description in their letter is not the same as what really happened. You can see in my papers they are asking why I did not show for a 12/** appt. That proving I did not put a 2000.00 deposit down for work in 2014 after healing. I expected to start on 12/** until 12/** MRI findings were worse than expected. So yes the money is resolved however our explanations are conflicted and I feel a somewhat shaken up at the changing of story. I guess they forgot they emailed me about appts. Shame. Thankyou for your help.
