I had the worst first time experience with Waxwerks 82nd St, Indianapolis… Starting from the beginning, I drop my car off on a Saturday morning to get the interior detailedI did not hear from Waxwerks that entire day on my vehicleSo, not knowing I was under the impression they must have been busyFast forwarding to Monday I call because I still had not heard from them by 1pmThe guy who works the front desk answers, and he is not sure if my truck is done that they had since SaturdayFinally he gets back on the phone, and tells me that it’s done and was done on SaturdayHe goes on to say, we called and left a messageI respond you did not call my phone nor did you leave a message for meHe tells me he is absolutely sure he did, so I ask him my telephone numberThe number that he gives me is not the number that I personally wrote down on their formThen, I go and pick up my truck only to find that there are still chips, crumbs and food still on my seats where the seatbelts are… I left up my seat and the carpet still had crumbs on the floorAt that point, I am trying to figure out how they accomplished shampooing the carpet and there are still crumbs on the floorI go back in and talk with the guy at the desk and he proceeds to tell me that they did their job, so I invite him to come take a lookHe tells me to just pull it in to their bay and there is someone there that will be able to take care of it for meAfter, getting almost the entire truck vacuumed again I get ready to leaveThen, I notice my gas tank is on emptySo, I ask about that and I am told that THEY LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE RUNNING WITH YOUR HEAT ON UNTIL THE INSIDE OF YOUR VEHICLE IS DRYI go back in to the front desk and once again he proceeds to act as if it was something I did, he tells me that I didn’t have any gas in it when I dropped it offHe tells me that they had to put $in my truck to drive it out of their bay… So what he just told me was they left my truck running until it ran out of gasWhich, when I dropped my truck off my tank was above the quarter mark, but a little below the half markIn light of my blood pressure rising, and the fact that I was on my lunch break from work I left
I would not recommend this place to anybodyThe customer service is horrible and the quality of work is bad
Completely unprofessional and incompetent
Also, he proceeds to tell me about all the basketball stars who bring their cars to him

After reviewing the complaint received by the Revdex.com about the Honda , we reviewed the situation with the technicians and found out that the customer had brought in their own parts and materials for these custom headlights and that the customer had personally worked on these headlights beforehand...
installing an aftermarket set of HID headlights which were not factory for this vehicle. The customer did in fact instruct the technicians to install a set of Halos for him and also to change the lenses in his projectors to go along with his HID's he had previously installed himself . In which the technicians were doing what they were told to do by the customer. This customer only paid for the labor for us to install them, no time anywhere was this customer concerned about a warranty and therefore would not make us responsible for his headlights. The job was finished and customer looked at everything and was happy upon the completion of the vehicle. THANKS, Herb J[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response provided implies that Waxwerks can wipe their hands clean of any damage that results from the work they say they can do. I understood that my warranty with Honda would be voided with the modification done, however what I'm reading is that Waxwerks is not standing behind their own warranty. The work done (visible in the attached images) clearly show that the headlamps were broken and done by someone without experience in opening headlights, and installing halos - in complete contradiction with what I was told when dropping off the car.Secondly, the response glosses over a huge issue concerning the turn-around. When I left 'satisfied' with the work, that was after my car being at their shop for 6 days, 5 days more than what was originally set. I admittedly left hastily because I had to rush to work since I had promised others I'd be available for them in person - to make up for not being in the office for 4 days. Even still, I left with the understanding that I could come back if issues came up. The reason I didn't go that route was because after examining the work more thoroughly, it was clear that the type of work they do is poor at best - and their offered warranty would probably follow suit. (That is, it doesn't make sense to take your car to be fixed by the mechanic that broke your car.)The mention of the aftermarket HIDs I installed myself is moot, and has nothing to do with the complaint. My issues are strictly around two (2) things: 1 - when they opened the headlamp - they left it damaged beyond a reasonable condition; and 2 - when they installed halos, they purposely cracked the shrouds.

I had used WaxWerks in the past, with great results. I too all three of our cars in for detailing in November and had very poor results. I can't even tell that they had touched the outside. I also had remote starters put on two of the cars, and we have had electrical issues with one. We are still attempting to solve that problem, but I think I will need to take the care somewhere else to get results. When I contact WaxWerks they can't seem to fit me in without an appointment. I also asked about repair of one seat. After three weeks waiting on an answer, I called back only to find that the store manager had quit without notice and they had no records of anything he was working on.
