Review: I went to Dr. Joanne Butler on February **, 2014 and had my teeth whitened during a 2 hour long procedure. The initial price that was given to me verbally was $695; I paid $795. I didn't argue because I was happy with the results. I was supposed to get impressions done for a tray, along with whitening gel. I needed to get two [redacted]s done, so Dr. Butler advised me to get the [redacted] done first, then to finish with the trays so the impressions would be accurate to my crowns. I listened to her advice, and waited to set up an appointment for my [redacted] after my insurance had approved my [redacted]. My [redacted] was approved, however, she claimed that the insurance company was not providing enough money to cover the costs of the [redacted] and wanted to charge me out of pocket per temporary crown (a grand total of $1,390). When going to my health insurance company to make a complaint against Dr. Butler for wanting to charge me, although it was covered through my insurance company, she stated that she was only charging me for my teeth whitening, which I had paid in full back in February. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism in this office. Dr. Butler had not spoken to me once since all of this has occurred, instead sending her secretary to rely messages to me. I would call multiple times, and receive a phone call after 7:00pm or not have my phone call returned at all. I called three times last week to take care of this issue, and did not receive a call back. I went into the office today to demand a refund, only to be told with attitude from the secretary, that it would not be possible but they could do the impressions for me and that I could pick up the trays next week. After sitting in the office for about 5 minutes, I realized that I did not feel comfortable with them doing work on my mouth especially after everything that I had been through with this office. I would appreciate a partial refund for the services that were not given to me.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund for the services that have not been provided for me, as I do not trust them to do work on me. I will gladly pay for the 2-hour treatment, however, for the rest of the whitening kit, along with the impressions/tray, I would like a refund for.

She refunded me a total of $50.00 after everything. Although I'm sure that this isn't the reality of the coat for the trays and whitening gel. I'm tired of dealing with the unprofessionalism and incompetence of this practice; so I've kept the money and dropped it.

Thank you!
