Review: Seen at Dr. Jons urgent care office on Sept 14,2015 for what I believed to be a UTI, the urine sample that I gave showed positive white blood cells which was a indication that I did have a UTI. I was advised at that time I would be started on a antibiotic Cipro twice a day for ten days and that my urine would be sent of to a outside lab to see if it was growing a specific organism, and that someone should be contacting me by Thursday of that week.I did pick up the cipro and I started it as instructed however I had little to no improvement as by Friday and since no one at the office had called me I called them, at which time they advised me they had not received the culture back and they would call me on Saturday.As of Monday September 21 no one has called me with a follow up, I did call the office twice the morning of September 21 and as of 4:00pm I still have not received a call back and I am still having symptoms, for this reason I called my insurance co to contest the charges and they advised they would have to pay what ever the doctor submitted because they had no way of knowing if the test was done or not done. I have had to go to my family doctor for further treatment because this office failed to follow up with me as they said they would.Desired Settlement: I don't want my insurance charged for a test that was not done

In response to the above referenced complaint, it takesseveral days for a urine culture and sensitivity to comeback. We attempted to call once on 9/20 and 4 times on9/21, and it was not possible to leave a message. Thepatient was reached by phone at 6:02 pm on 9 /21 andadvised of the culture and sensitivity report. Analternative prescription was called into her pharmacy atthat time.Sincerely,[redacted]
