Dr. Jones is a great dr. that I have been seeing for almost ten years now. I am a metal health patient who is diagnosed as bi-polar. Unfortunately at this point the dr. has alot of staff that do not know how to handle metal health patients. I have been calling to speak to the dr. about my state of mind and medication change for over a month now, and still no call back. Spoke to someone that stated she was the office manger over three weeks ago and she assured me that the dr. would be calling me back. I have been trying for over a week now to get my meds refilled and I am now in full withdrawal because for some reason they cant get it called in. This is not the first time this has happen either. I am bi-polar-metally ill- you would think that dr. jones should be well aware of someone that calls in and is stating that they are struggling, and are in need of some help. A phone call is all I need. I do have any appt but that is not until Aug 3, I stated at the time I talked to the office manager that this was to long to go, please have her call me prior to this, and still no call.
Other (requires explanation) I would like dr Jones to call me personally so that this can be worked out, i don't think she is aware of how the staff is handling her patients while she is in sessions all day.
I have been treating the above patient for the past 15 years. He has had difficulty getting his medication, due to the fact that he has not been keeping his appointments. To maintain compliance with the receipt of his medication, *** should maintain his appointments, that is in fact to be scheduled every three months. If he is not seen every three months, he can not continue to receive medication. In addition, his last three appointments have been 8 months, 6 months, and 13 months apart.
In addition to the above statement, the patient's girlfriend called in to try to speak with the doctor regarding his medicine. She did/does not have an advanced medical directive and/or listed as an authorized representative for this patient. Therefore, under Virginia Law ##XXXXX-XXX-XX, we could not provide any information to that individual.
Furthermore, the patient had not provided any insurance information, however, we were/are willing to see him.
