would have been a charge of half the surgery, but before I charged her over $500, I checked with Dr. [redacted] and he said make it $100. She initially refused to pay it and it went to our collection agency which added $40 as indicated on the registration form. It went to collection on 7/10/15 and she paid $100 of the $140 on 9/2/15. Therefore she is not correct on her statement of her paying the $100 prior to collection. She went to another office and wanted her x-rays forwarded. She was told it required a records copying fee as allowed by Illinois law. She refused to pay it. The copying fee was NOT related to her balance.
