[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I don't think the owner knows what he is doing because when he replaced the locks, he didn't have the proper handle to fit the inside so he hammered the old ones on the new locks Because of the way he replaced the handles, one the doors is not secure because it doesn't close tight Also, on the other door he put the lock upside down The lock and handles should have come together I didn't need to have the garage door opened because once he opened the side door I could have opened the garage door end from inside Word of mouth is better than any advertising....if you would have said are you sure about this? or you could save some money by doing this? He should come back and do the job of replacing the locks/handles properly at no cost I certainly would not endorse this business and I still think he took advantage of the situation Anything to make a buck not matter what? Regards, [redacted]

When you call in a service very early in the morning which was around o'clock on the weekend to do a few lock out and install few locks you should know it will cost you couple hundreds , $for a lockout it's decent it's not cheap but it's not expensive. In some cases lockout can be
$120-or moreRegarding the T locks was included labor and installation that we had to expand the holes and do some extra labor on the door since the new locks are bigger and better .We have high expenses mostly the advertising that cost few thousand every month and we don't get jobs on a daily basis. We did not give you a price over the phone when you were give you a price on the spot you could say no thank you or do some of it or saying I don't want to pay this much no one forced you to do Or paying anything .specially since you weren't locked out of the house or car you can not say that we were takening advantage of the situation. We are sorry you feel that way P.SWhen you go buy pizza it cost them less than dollarTo make it and you pain $or 15$ and it's take less than minutes it's all in comparison to expenses

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't think the owner knows what he is doing because when he replaced the locks, he didn't have the proper handle to fit the inside so he hammered the old ones on the new locks.  Because of the way he replaced the handles, one the doors is not secure because it doesn't close tight.  Also, on the other door he put the lock upside down.  The lock and handles should have come together.
I didn't need to have the garage door opened because once he opened the side door I could have opened the garage door end from inside.
Word of mouth is better than any advertising....if you would have said are you sure about this? or you could save some money by doing this?
He should come back and do the job of replacing the locks/handles properly at no cost.
I certainly would not endorse this business and I still think he took advantage of the situation.  Anything to make a buck not matter what?

Review: Key was broke in ignition- locksmith advised will remove - he seemed to remove most of key , after he left we advised him vehicle would not start, spare key would not turn- he made an attempt to try & left - car sat for 2 weeks in front of house.

brother in law called him to honor his services/commitments & return to finish job or refund labor fees - company person refused

car sat again - appears not entire key removed -- vehicle has been towed (our expense) to garage for servicingDesired Settlement: We move to have a refund sent asap for labor $135.00 . he is entitled only to service call fee $29.00

Business

Response:

1-costumer always know the price and what he paying for BEFORE we start

2-quote was $29 for service call $80-150 for labor ,and costumer been told for the key extract -135 TO TAKE THE BROKEN PIECE OUT -we didn't say or promise that the ignition going to work

from our experience sometime its work sometimes not, (we have happy costumers that will tell you it worked for them)

3- costumer knew that ignition cost him problem -that why car key broke, and took his chance sense he got another key he just needed the broken piece out(in some Case costumers that lost the car keys and think that maybe the keys was left in the car and they paying to open the car and if thy don't find they keys inside the car they not asking for the money back.)

4- to say the locksmith got most of the key out its Nansen's, car keys are so hard materiel you cant break a car key for more then 2 pieces

5-locksmith handed the broken piece to the costumer and he was Abel to put in the other car key he had ALL THE WAY IN -(nothing left inside the ignition)
