Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Although I was in her office on the date mentioned, I never denied that, I never made an appointmentI requested her availability and informed her assistant or clerk that I will be calling back to schedule the appointmentI am assure of this because I work out of town continuously and I had not confirmed my business traveling schedule on the same day the Doctor claim I made the appointmentI cannot control what is inputted in her system but I emphatically deny that I accepted or confirmed an appointment after March The office has the input of the appointments without any verification promise of a confirmation, such as; phone call or text message appointment reminder, or written from of confirmationThe doctor office is and has been very rude and unethical in slamming me for this matterI am not sure what the $missed appointment fee has been increased to but I am requesting relief from the $dollar my initial Revdex.com complaint was for.
I requested proof of my confirmation of this missed appointment since this situation consequently has a financial penalty and this doctor office says there was noneAfter being extremely rude, I decided to take my matter to the Revdex.comFrom my understanding, this Doctors office was unresponsive in my initial complaint and now continues to slam me with a fee that I did not schedule nor confirmThat is as if they can show to add people's name to their controlled database and then turn around and charge them and show screen prints of their computer screen as proof.
Regards,

• [redacted] was seen in my office on March 26th, 2015.•  My practice is to tell the patient when they should follow up so they can make their follow up appointment before leaving the office.• [redacted] made a follow up appointment while in the office on March 26th for April 1st 2015 at...

10:30am. His appointment time was written on a business card and logged in our computer, April 2015, 10:30am. • I provided a screenshot as evidence of the appointment. • We have a no-show policy, which states we expect patients to cancel 24hrs before a scheduled appointment. If it is not cancelled 24hrs before the appointment a $50 fee will be charged. September 1, 2015Dear Revdex.com,• [redacted]'s first sentence in this rebuttal makes no sense.• Again, confirmation is not required by the patient, only a phone call for cancelling an appointment.• [redacted]'s recollection of the events are false. I stand on the statement previously sent and believe that I am completely justified. His recent rebuttal continues to be untruthful. I have submitted my previous statement which is consistent with the fact of these events.Sincerely,Lynda M. Crawford, M.D.
