Sent to collections w/o prior notifications. No prior bill or explanation mailed to me for the amount. Won't provide itemized bill after several req.
She sent me to collections. I have never recieved a bill for amount shown. Letter says to contact her by 6/11/2014. I have many times to ask about bill and request an itemized bill. Staff there keep hanging up on me or they leave me on hold and never return to call. I called Kings Credit and told them Dr [redacted]'s office told me I had to call them. I spoke to [redacted] at Kings Credit and she said no, that I must call them and they have to provide me an itemized bill. I explained to her that they said they don't have to and if I want a copy to call Kings Credit. [redacted] seemed upset as Dr [redacted] has a history of doing stuff like that. She said she would call them and tell them they HAVE to provide me a copy and to call them back in 5 minutes. Within minutes I recieved a call from Visalia PD (officer White) and he said Dr [redacted]'s office called them saying I was harrassing them. I explained to officer what I needed and that I did call them multiple times because my letter says to contact them and they keep hanging up on me. Officer [redacted] told them what I needed/wanted while I was on the phone and I can hear the Dr in the back ground. Office asked when I can pick up what I needed and dr said I don't know. Officer asked if 3 hours would be ok.(this was June 5th 2014), she said no. He said how about tomorrow.(june 6th), she said no. He then asked the Dr will they be ready by monday and Dr said I dont know. I explained to the officer that was the reason I kept calling them because they keep giving me the run around and won't print out a simple bill for me explaining what I am being billed for. He said the Dr says your being billed for a crown for your son. I said my son is already seeing another dentist who is working on that crown. I can get proof. On Friday we called our insurance CCPOA, they said they have not been billed for a Crown so how can she even bill me for it. So yesterday 6/9/2014 my husband called her to see if our itemized bill was ready, they said no maybe later. I got a call around 4pm on 6/9 saying it was ready. I drove to her office picked up copies and drove away assuming all was there. I then pulled over and there were no itemized bills. I called office it was 4:45pm. The receptionist [redacted] said the Dr was going to Audit my account therefore bills not ready. I told her when will my copy of itemized bills be ready, she put me on hold and returned and said Dr said she doesn't know. I then asked her so does this put my bill on hold until she's done "auditing" my account because I don't want to go to collections. She said I don't know. I asked her can you please find out. She put me on hold and never returned. I hung up at 5pm after waiting close to 15 min.(I have my phone bill as proof). As of now 11:15am 6/10/2014 Dr [redacted]'s office has not contacted me regarding my requests. I just want to know what I'm being billed for and make sure she's not billing for services not rendered as I believe she is.
