Company uses fraudulent practices to lure patients in and then seeks excessive financial compensation without providing promised services.
On May 20, 2013 I purchased a Groupon for this business that included an exam, cleaning and x-ray. The Groupon stated that a consultation was required. I called that day to make an appointment for my 21 year old daughter, [redacted], informing the receptionist of my Groupon. An appointment was granted for May 22.

An extensive questionnaire was requested to be filled out, including information on insurance and Method of Payment. Since we have no dental insurance; and payment was not necessary with the groupon, we answered N/A on the form.

My daughter was taken in, and returned to the waiting room in 20 minutes. She stated that they found 2 cavities even though she had no symptoms. I asked her did she see anything on the x-rays, and she indicated that she had not. She stated that the Dentist said they were not deep yet, so they would not show up on the x-rays. I asked my daughter if they had done the cleaning yet, and she responded "No". Shortly after, someone poked their head in the waiting room to inform Renee that she would have her cleaning soon.

About 10 minutes later, the receptionist called my daughter in the back to go over details on the questionnaire, and when she wanted to return for her next appointment. I told her to inform the receptionist we would not be making an appointment at that time.

My daughter, who has Aspergers, returned to the waiting room in frustration asking me to come to the back, which I did. The receptionist handed me a plan, that included $2000 of payment to repair the cavities. The plan detailed 3 visits that stated the 1st visit was no fee, and included a polishing for her teeth, and the 2nd and 3rd visits were $1000 each.

I informed the receptionist that we would no make future appointments and requested my daughter have her cleaning. The receptionist stated that the cleaning could not take place because the staff was busy with other patients. It was obvious that there was an issue because we did not want to continue with additional services. So we left without what my daughter needed the most, a cleaning.
