I want the charge removed from my credit.I was a patient at Dental Works. I went to get a root canal. The root canal was not completed and instead my tooth was extracted. I was told I did not have to pay anything and in fact I have an amount credit to my acct. The dentist told me that I have build up on my teeth and he is not charging to remove it because I was a great customer. My husband and I are trying to buy a house and there is a charge of 164.00 on my credit report. I called 8 different times to the office in Greenville NC and was finally told is was an error but nothing could be done to remove it. I was then told I owe $15.00 instead of the 164.00. I dont owe Dental Works anything and I want this complete charge removed my credit ASAP. Desired SettlementI will not longer due any business with this company. Dental [redacted] inquired of my dental insurance company for type of coverage before my first visit. They led me to believe services we discussed were covered and what my portion of expense would be. I was required to pay my portion before services were rendered. After completion of services they billed me for and additional amount which was more than I paid in the beginning, implying not covered by insurance.Desired Settlement Dental [redacted] knows this was done by deliberant intent, if not it was an error on there part not mine. I fully expect them to recall billed amount and cease collection efforts and adjust any infractions that may have been reported to credit bureaus.Business Response :Charges were billed according to services performed. Patient responsibility is due to insurance limitation and coverage plan.
