Review: We hired D & R Moving to relocate us from [redacted] to [redacted]. Although we were charged double the amount of the estimate provided to us, we paid them. We discovered that some of our furniture and belongings were damaged, while others were missing. We contacted [redacted], [redacted], who reviewed our case and discovered that his men did, in fact, take our belongings which were mostly many of my husband's colognes. Although the damaged furniture was repaired, we still have not been paid any money for the missing colognes. [redacted] continues to ignore the issue and has not offered a reasonable settlement. Instead, he is claiming that he undercharged us for the move. Although he claims he fired two of his men who pointed fingers at one another for the missing items, he has still not made a decent offer to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: We are requesting $850 refund to make up for the missing colognes. He searched them on [redacted]; however, my husband purchases his colognes at Macys or Bloomingdales, not [redacted]. He purchased two of the missing colognes in Bermuda and they are not easily replaceable.
