I am rejecting this response because:
What you are stating is categorically untrueI don't care what you do with the tanksWe never wished to even discuss repair and they were taken under pretensesPlease show me where I agreed to ang of these terms in writingThank you.

We have been in business over forty-five years and have always charged service call, parts, and labor for all service work unless covered under warrantyWe do not send service technicians to homes without charging and without making customers aware of these charges up frontIf the customer
wants a sales representative to visit their home, then we do provide a free water analysis and estimateWe run an honest business and do our best to provide quality service and support to all of our customers
On 2/22/we received a call from the customer and scheduled a chargeable service call with herShe was advised at that time by our scheduler the charges would be service call, parts, and laborOn 2/23/our service technician visited the home and gave options for rebuilding or replacing her water softenerThe system was over fifteen years old and needed an overhaul including new resin mediaHe bypassed her water softening system and brought the control head and media tanks back to our shopThe customer was advised he would call her with an estimate after which she could decide to rebuild or replace the systemIf she decided to replace the water softener, then the service call charge would apply towards the purchase of a new system
Our service technician tried to contact the customer on the following dates to provide an estimate on rebuilding her water softener: 2/27/9:39am, 3/1/11:am, 3/2/8:am, and 3/7/9:amUnfortunately the customer did not have the courtesy of answering or returning calls or responding to voice messages from him
We still have the customer’s water softener in the same condition as when we removed it from her homeShe has a few options at this time: we can return the water softener and place back into service, she can move forward with the estimate to rebuild, or she can purchase a new system and have the service call charge applied to thatShe does, however, need to pay her bill

The call was scheduled for hard water with a service technicianThe call was not scheduled for a free estimate with a sales representativeThe person who scheduled the call has over ten years of experience working both in the field and officeAs such, they are very familiar with our company procedure to charge service call, parts, and labor for all service work unless covered under warranty and advise customer of these charges up frontIf the call was for sales, then it would have been transferred to either a sales representative or appointment setter
The same options are still available to the customer as stated previously: we can return the water softener and place back into service, she can move forward with the estimate to rebuild (please contact our office for details), or she can purchase a new system and have the service call charge applied as a down payment to that purchase
It is not fair to all of our paying customers to not charge and collect a service call in this instance for a visit from a service technician to the homeIf she does not want her unit returned or rebuilt, then we are stuck with additional costs for disposal which typically range from $- $The customer needs to clearly communicate what she wants done with her old control head and media tanks that are currently in our possession
To my knowledge we have never received a complaint like this in over forty-five yearsOur business policies and procedures are clear and applied consistentlyWe are always available to answer questions and address legitimate concernsWe have always taken care of our customers and will continue to do so in the futureWe offer quality products and servicesWe stay in business by charging our customers for work performed and collecting payment for those services
