Dr. Restoration, LLC Reviews (3)

Dear [redacted]~

In response to the complaint of [redacted] in regards to the location:  [redacted]
Please see Dr Restoration contract with Mr [redacted] dated 3/3/11 (Attached)
This contract was based on an insurance loss...

on 2/28/11 in the amount of $164,169.79
All Production was completed the beginning of June 2011.
Mr [redacted] contacted us in July and November of 2012 to report leaks.  Both instances were caused by the adjoining neighboring roof.  (see attached areal photo/ Repair Request information)
Mr [redacted] is correct in the fact of his 1st contact on 1/22/14, but it was Dr Restorations impression that this was not an urgent request. (see attached email and quick response from Dr Restoration)
Mr [redacted]'s second contact to Dr. Restoration was on 8/1/14 stating the leaking had gotten worse and wanted Rich R[redacted] to come out at this time.  Rich was out of town and returned into the office on 8/20/14.  Mr [redacted] was contacted by our office on this day to let him know that Mr R[redacted] was going to be at his location on Monday 8/25/14 to inspect the situation.
It is Dr Restoration's policy to respond to these kinds of situations as quickly as possible and we will continue to operate in that same manner.
Dr Restoration disagrees with Mr [redacted]'s complaint reading the purchase price of 186,000.00, contract clearly states $164,169.79.  Dr Restoration disagrees with Mr [redacted]'s statement of a 30 year warranty.
With much respect,
Julie R[redacted]

Tell us why here...In response to the complaint of [redacted]Dr. Restoration was called out to the [redacted] home for an insurance loss.  [redacted], who is [redacted]'s son, was the sales representative for this job. Please see attached contract dated 3/5/13 and...

Change of Contract (signed by [redacted] and [redacted])  There were many line items from the insurance estimate that [redacted] wanted to do himself. Please see Attached Insurance Estimate Total $17,132.75Please see Attached Supplement #1  Total $4,051.56   (The insurance Estimate and the Supplement #1 is the contract price on the Contract of $20,684.31)  This amount included a Friends and Family discount of $500.00Please see Attached Supplement #2  Total $2,837.64  (This is a supplement that [redacted] and [redacted] did on their own... Dr. Restoration did not collect these monies that were paid to [redacted] from his insurance company)I present this information to you for the larger picture....The work that we were to perform at [redacted]'s home did not require a building permit from the city.  The windows that [redacted] ordered for his Dad's house were not the correct measurements.  [redacted] instructed the installer to proceed with the installation but in order to do so he had to cut back some of the drywall around the windows. To the knowledge of the office everything was completed to the satisfaction of Mr [redacted].... (please see attached Completion of Repairs signed by [redacted])[redacted] was paid in full for his commissions on the file and the file was closed out. (5/10/13)[redacted] was dismissed from employment with Dr. Restoration just after his Dad's file closed out.On Oct 1, 2013 we received a letter from and attorney representing Mr [redacted], stating that the windows were installed improperly.  Our attorney responded in disagreement. On Nov 14, 2013 we received a notice from The City of Indpls stating we were in permit violation because we did not file for a permit for altering of the window opening during installation. (which we did not do)The City of Indpls instructed us to go ahead and file for a permit and submit drawings of the window openings.  (we complied and on submitted a completion card to the city on 5/29/14, see attached)Mr [redacted] continued to insist to the City of Indpls that we altered the window opening.  We agreed to meet the City at Mr [redacted]s home so the inspector could take a look a verify what we were stating to be true. One of our representatives met on Feb 2, 2015 at the [redacted] home with the City inspector and Mr [redacted] refused to let the inspector look at the windows.  The city of Indpls has closed the file on Mr [redacted]s home.I apologize for the inconvenience of this complaint.... Please contact us if you need any additional documentation.?
