Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2016/08/29) */
I have never seen or spoken to a lady, only her a man so I'll assume that person is the husband. This all started with tires for a Honda Pilot I went out of my way to get him 4 new tires within his price range, then to realize those tire were no...

longer available, I got him a better, more expensive tire for the same price that I quoted him. Whie changing the tires out our machince did scratch the wheels, it wasn't noticable until the customer pointed it out. We apologized and told hm we would take care of it. I called the Honda Dealer who gave me a number to a guy that they use.Im not sure if we did the scratches, but we repaired it. I asked the customer to be here on that following Monday, but explained I did not have a specific time that the guy would be here. The wheels were taken care of and looked better than they did prior. The customer is expecting us to buy him new wheels, plus pay for tire rotation on the tires we sold him that we so lost on, I took before and after photos of the wheels to have for record.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/08/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We do not accept the response from this business because they still refuse to take responsibility due to the negligence of their service. Clearly they support insufficient work as they plainly stated "The wheels were taken care of and looked better than they did prior". The rims looking better is an understatement and a far cry from what they were before taking the vehicle to Dr. Ron's! My question is what kind of business complains about honoring a quote given to a customer and then wants to praised for doing their job. It is evident that they don't value their customers or the community in which they operate in. They are extremely dishonest and deceiving as they lost and incorrectly replaced a tire stem. Surprisely, they never mentioned it! I'm not sure what Honda Dealership they called but their repairman is not the one Honda uses. We had the expert that Honda uses to look at the rims and he refused to touch them because of the messy repair job that we recieved. In response to "buying new wheels", that is not true because if that was the case why would we allow a repair job. We were trying to work with them. Please ask yourself, would you allow them to rotate tires on your vehicle when they are dishonest and knowingly and habitually using faulty eqipment to put on customers tires? Let's look at their credibility when it pertains to basic facts. In one breath, "Whie changing the tires out our machince did scratch the wheels, it wasn't noticable until the customer pointed it out. We apologized and told hm we would take care of it." Then next, "Im not sure if we did the scratches, but we repaired it." SERIOUSLY!

When the customer came in requested work he wanted to have done on the vehicle,he was informed that it may or may not...

resolve the issue. He was given an amount. It was later discovered that the work was more extensive than first quoted, customer was notified in person, he agreed to the
amount. He then called and asked if the job could be done sooner and that he would pay extra, which he did.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/02/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The work did to truck has left more problems it's not even drivable after speaking with other mechanics I was told that the extreme work did was not even nessesary for the requested job. So the extra problems from the extra work was cause by the unescessary job did. The reason for the extra money because every time I came by the truck was just sitting he said he had to pay someone to help fix it. And I needed my truck to get to work.

customer bought his truck in and ask if we can clean his oil pan strainer because he had little or no oil pressure and the engine was knocking do to no oil pressure we informed customer we can do the job but there is no guarantee that this would solve his problem because he continue to drive vehicle in this condition he had financial problems he said he did not have that much money we checked the car then informed the customer that the engine had to be removed from the vehicle to do this job he said he would see if he could find the money we removed the engine open the oil pan and saw major damage already done to the engine we then showed the customer all the metal particles along with the sludge that was causing the restriction of the oil flow we then recommend to the customer that it would be best to replace the engine he replied I don't have the money for another engine just clean the strainer and put it back we did everything the customer request as far as customer stating we needed help from another mechanic from the outside we run a very busy repair shop because we do very good quality work at a fair price because he was in a rush and needed his vehicle in 2 days we informed him we don't give this kind of job back right away because it takes time and we have other customers to take care of I told him I have another mechanic who we call when it gets very busy to help him to get his car back sooner other than that this customer did not take our advice as to change the engine while it was already out do to his financial problems.
