had to take time to call for benefits and approval from her Insurance.The patient had a reminder call to remind her of her procedure, we never received a cancelation notice or call from the patient. Tl1ls appointment was for a procedure which is 30 minutes, and is blocked lor that allotted time. H r no showing for this appointment, created lost time for the physician that could have been utilized by other patients.We do not know why the patient states results needed to be given to her by her PCP for a test done outside of our office, which was separate testing then what was scheduled in our office, both the test and the procedure were required for this p tient to have a correct diagnosis of the Issues she was having.The patient called billing to dispute the no show charge on  Dec 22'd which billing did contact the office manager to state what the patient was saying and billing called her back with the outcome of the conversation, saying that she was responsible for the charge. The patient did not call back until Aprll18'h to dispute It again. At this time the office had been closed down and moved to another practice. Management did get the message but due to themanager not being in office any longer and only work'1ng late at night a few hours a week to wrap up the office acall could not be made to the patient, If a call would have been made to the patient the outcome would still be the same, and that Is the patient needs to pay the fee for not showing up.
