Review: We signed a contract dated 9/8/2011 for services including the planting of 10 Thuja Arborvitae trees ($188/per tree) with a one year warranty. Within the year (2011-2012), six of these Thuja Arborvitae trees died. Numerous phone calls were placed to Mr. [redacted] (the owner of Dr. Skoz Lawn, Landscape & Plowing, Inc.) during 2012 and 2013 where he indicated he was going to come and look at the trees with the person who grew the trees. No status was provided until March 2013 where he indicated on a March, 2013 invoice "we will look at your arbs for replacement when new one's can be gotten". On June 26, 2013, my husband called and spoke with [redacted] and he indicated "the arbs will be replaced soon. Bad year and weather. He will see us soon." My husband requested that he keep in touch so we know what was going on. On September 10, 2013, my husband once again called [redacted]'s office and spoke with the receptionist and she indicated she will have [redacted] call him. No return call has yet been received.Desired Settlement: Ultimately, we would like the trees replaced by Dr. Skoz Lawn, Landscape & Plowing, Inc. (including planting). As an alternative, cash replacement value of the six trees at $150 per tree will be acceptable and we will take care of replacement of the trees.
