Dr. Steven Geduld

Dr. *** DDS represented himself as a dentist who accepted my insurance. His office purposefully neglected to inform me that his office is considered to be "out of network", although his information appears on the list of providers, and will thus not write-off any amount that is not paid by my insurance. After MANY sessions of dental work I received one large bill in the mail with no itemized statement or explanation. Upon calling to question the bill, I also found he billed an exam to my insurance for checking on his own work that had fallen out, but somehow does not need repair. He agreed to write off the part billed to me ($55.00) but not the illegitimate monies he received from the insurance company ($62.00). My initial call agreed to a balance owed as $126.66, but I again received an un-itemized bill for $201.20. Upon calling, and being yelled at, the bill is now $146.20.
Since all of this I have had to have a tooth removed, by another dentist, due to the incompetent work Dr. ***. I have nothing left available under my insurance plan and have been informed I will need corrective dental work done to the fillings he placed.
