Dr. Susan Bracker, D.D.S.

Review: While at Dr. Bracker's office in 2011 for a cavity filling, the patient was made to wait in the dentist chair for over two hours before work started. In addition, he had to request more novocaine when the work was finally going to start because the original shot had worn off by the time Dr. Bracker attended to his appointment. No apology or explanation was shared of why such a lengthy delay occurred, nor any regard to his time.

Once the insurance company paid Dr. Bracker's office, a $50 balance was left on the account with no line item detail explaining the remaining amount. Since the experience was so horrendous, we expressed to Dr. Bracker's office that we didn't feel that the balance should be passed along to our family and it would be a step to good will customer service to write it off. Unfortunately, they have continued to charge us finance fees and now has since sent the account to collects for $81.65 (the $50 original balance and finance charges). We have had numerous conversations with both Dr. Bracker's office since the incident explaining that the patient's time has value as well. Most recently, Dr. Bracker called and we, again, expressed that we don't believe we should be charged the remaining amount because of the exorbitant amount of time the patient had to wait for service. After that call, we received notice from a collections company seeking payment and another statement from Dr. Bracker's officeDesired Settlement: We are requested that Dr. Bracker adjust the bill and write off what her office believes is the remaining amount on our account. In addition, remove any and all collection notices she and her representatives initiated against our credit history.
