Review: My son ( age 22) went to dr. Borders office to have a partial put on 11/7/2012. He is a dependant under my wife's dental insurance. I went to dr borders office on 2/5/2013 to have a cleaning under my wife's insurance. My son has not paid his copay of $125.00 so dr. Borders office has decided to turn me into a collection agency for his copay. Now both myself and my son are both dependants under my wife's insurance. My question is can they attack my credit for a non payment of my adult sons? They said they turned me into the collection agency because they had my ssi number on file from my visit on 2/5/13. The claim is listed as service from 12/20/12. Please advise ThanksDesired Settlement: I want this removed from my credit history and my name and ssi number removed from this non payment of my adult sons bill. I had nothing to do with what he had done and they shouldn't be able to attack my credit over this.
