DR. VERNA LEWIS is the epitome of doctor-patient relationship. She truly cares about her family of patients. She listens attentively with a caring heart at each visit. She is a genuinely warm and caring doctor who has her patients' needs as her primary concern. She diagnoses your medical problem, talks in depth with you about it, explains what she diagnosed, asks if you have questions and responds.to you questions. When you call with a question or concern, Dr. Lewis is sure to return the call or have your question/concern addressed the same day. It was a BLESSING for me when she was referred to me in the midst of my struggle with pain. What a wonderful woman after GOD'S own heart!

I have been with Dr. Lewis for 3 years now. She and her staff are wonderful caring awesome team. She may run behind but she is worth the wait. She is only running behind because she has taken the time to care about the patient before you. She will do the same for you. She not only worries about what she is treating you for she worries about your over all health. Her staff cares and they all take they time to get to know you on a personal level. When you go to Dr. Lewis you do not feel like just another # in the herd. She knows you, she remembers you as an individual. I have always been terrified of shots she gave me a shot that was the most gentle shot I ever received. From that moment I only wanted her to give my shot,once she was courtesy enough to ask me if a nurse could give my shot to me the next time I was there so she could go to her next patient. She knew I was terrified because I came to trust her she reassured me her staff would be just as gentle and I could trust them and if not she would do it from then on. I agreed and Dr. Lewis nor her staff didn't let me down. They each one as I learned to get over my fear and trust them were as gentle as she was. They restored my trust in the medical team who say "I am gentle" when so many times they don't take the time to be gentle with a patient regardless of their fears. Dr. Lewis and her staff took my fears seriously. In all this after 10 years of me rejecting trigger point injections, I now get regular. I also get facet joint injections from Dr. Lewis something I refused for years from my previous provider also refusing trigger point injections from previous provider after a few times from them. This is what a doctor and caring staff that takes your concerns and fears seriously does to help you get relief without just pushing pills on you. I work full time with overtime, I am a part time student, I am single with a small farm to run by my self. I have a long term chronic deteriorating condition I have lived with for the last 15 years. Dr. Lewis has been the only provider that has taken enough interest in me to help me have a better quality of life to do all I am doing now I couldn't do before. She helps you find a solution to live a better quality of life just like the name of her practice states! Thank you Dr. Lewis and Staff for truly caring about your patients and meaning it, for taking the time to get to know your patients as individuals so when we come in we feel like were not cattle in a herd. Thank you for being a doctor who is still genuine and it's about your patients and about why you became a doctor and why you became a nurse or why you went to work in a doctor office.
