While we understand the customers concerns we will reiterate that we stand behind the principals of the Revdex.com and in order to resolve the matter have refunded the money back to the customers [redacted] and taken possession of the vehicle.?

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.? If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me? ? They has only put $1,back on my [redacted] as of '09-09-called the bank to check to see if all of it was there, but yes I have given them their car back, waiting until Monday to check again for the other $1,If not I will be contacting you again about it

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by *** *** and
offer the following responses to the specific items contained in her complaint
Backgound
Upon picking up her vehicle after being repaired at our
Shop, Ms*** compiled an amazing list of damages that she claims were made
to
her vehicle while in our ShopThese damages include the following:
A screw in her tire
Broken license plate light
Broken seat control panel
Broken hill control switch
Missing hood struts
Additionally, though she failed to mention it in her
complaint, she also alleged that we broke her tail lamp lens
Response
While we do not believe we inflicted any of the above
damages to her vehicle, because Ms*** was a long-standing customer, as a
gesture of goodwill, we made the following repairs to her vehicle at no charge:
Replaced the balight (referred to as the
license plate light in her complaint)Installed a new seat control panel (see the
attached picture of the extremely worn-out condition of the item replaced)Replaced the hill control switch
These gratuitous repairs had a retail value of over $700, of
which $was our out-of-pocket cost for parts
After completing these repairs, the situation came to a
point where “enough is enough” as far as replacing the items on Ms***’s list
and I made the decision to decline to replace the missing hood strutsMs***
alleges that I agreed to replace the struts, which is simply not trueA
portion of the repairs to her vehicle was performed at a subcontractor shop
What I agreed to do was to contact them to see if for some unknown, and frankly
incomprehensible reason, they had removed the hood struts and failed to
reinstall themOther than for purposes of removing an engine, in which case
you might want to remove the hood, there would be no plausible reason for a
shop to remove hood struts
In summary, I believe we went above and beyond what most
shops in town would have done if they had been presented with such a list of
alleged damages and am sorry that Ms*** is not satisfied with our efforts to
please her

The customer in question cosigned on a loan for his family member, the family member who signed for the loan voluntarily repossessed the car as they could not afford it.? Our company reports our loans to our customers credit reports in order to help them build up their auto credit and secure
better interest rates in the future as they make current payments on? the loan.? Per federal law we are required to report everyone who is responsible for a loan to their credit report, the law does not allow for exceptions.? Mr*** understood this when he signed the contract on behalf of his family member, we invite the complainant to call *** *** and attempt to dispute the trade line but it will ultimately be up to? the Credit Reporting company as we are reporting true and correct information and we are bound by federal law? to be compliant. There is not much else we can do, we have the signed contract and all of the information to verify the debt if *** *** requests verification.? Unfortunately in regards to this there is not much we can offer as assistance, the federal law is very clear on credit reporting.?
