[This dispute was dropped because Draftkings has held my account hostage, restricting my account and disallowing access to other funds in my account.  This framework does not allow consumers or users of the site to  contest charges against the site as legitimate disputes are addressed with threats and account restrictions to compel the user to drop any disputes.  The site also provides no telephone or live chat support to help customers resolve billing issues. ]

Draft Kings' response is completely invalid and holds absolutely no weight. This was not a consumer error. With regards to Draft Kings' claim that I did not provide a copy of my identification- I have two emails on file which will verify that I indeed sent a photo copy of my driver's license. The first email was sent on 9/21/15, and the second email was sent on 9/30/15. I have attached photos of both emails sent to Draft Kings. This "error" is of no fault of mine, the consumer. This is an error on Draft Kings behalf. I am willing to send Draft Kings a copy of my identification for a third time, but in return, I want Draft Kings to treat my request with a high priority, and guarantee I will receive my money within the 2-3 business days, as noted in their withdrawal policy.

Please understand that I also have the right as a consumer to question your cancellation and point it out as an unfair practice. The fact remains that DraftKings made the error and not the users.  I would think that when a company makes a mistake it’s the company that should suffer the consequences and not the users. DraftKings could have easily made the decision to refund the entry fee for users affected by the issues and continued the contest for users that were unaffected  and that did nothing wrong. That option would have provided users with potentially winning lineups an opportunity to still win money in the contest. That would have meant further losses to DraftKings, so a user can only assume that’s why that did not happen.   You are correct that this situation is less than ideal. I hope regulators take these types of scenarios into account when crafting daily fantasy regulations. If contests are to be truly fair then regulators need to consider more than just insider information and collusion. They need to ensure that users are being treated fairly in instances where the company has technical issues that affect the outcome of a contest.   One last thing.  I just want to point out that I'm not the only affected by these DraftKings issues.  See this Twitter thread [redacted]

once again they say I broke the rules that no one knows of. They accepted my wifes card and she has a different last name than me. I used it for weeks when I needed to,for convince. So saying you can only use one card is a lie.My father who had the same last name and addressee as me. I'll continue to say my father never contacted anyone his bank or Draftkings reporting any problem and was willing to send them a front and back of his id,which we did. Plus there idea of exhausting every attempt to resolve is a lie they gave us one option which was not a option since my father would not allow me to send a picture of his card front and back. When I told them this they gave no other attempt and was happy to close my account and say screw me to my face basically. Even as they write a response which I wouldn't be surprised if it was automated even to the Revdex.com.The soonest they contacted me was late at night and even as they knew of the problem they just kept sending automated responses. Instead of assigning someone to the problem four days later they finally started talking to me from one actual live person. They still don't get the potential danger of sending complete strangers copies front and back our dl and credit cards.They made it impossible to resolve. Like they are some trustworthy company with who knows how many people could have seen it or used it or hacked it. With the chance of identity theft today. I still hope someone reads how the've handled this entire situation and uses someone else. they can't resolve this issue until they meet my demands. They are to big for their own good, in their responses they still act like its no big deal to just sign our lives over to them. If someone is reading this before they sign up with them, they even think they responded correctly that's how blind they are.They like any other millon dollar company could care less about the small guy using their rules when it suits them or for their sorry defense. They think that by posting my angry outburst that it will direct the attention away from them but it won't everyone will read this and see how they hang you out to dry and don't back their customers. I spent days researching teams and lineups just to be shut out keep in mind this was a deposit not me trying to withdraw money from a different accounts someone who used passwords and info that no one would know over $25 DOLLARS they done this to me. it's been a week now and I guarantee they still haven't been contacted from my fathers bank cause there was no miss use. I've repeated this in any review that I could fine I will tell the world if I can to never use them I will scream across the world and will never give up. I'm so sick of these companys that treat you like trash or like the guy that's is really trying to steal in real life. I wasn't a new customer I was a old customer I proved to be honest in never trying to cheat them. I still spent my money even though their late telling you someones out and having to play people that aren't even in the game I let them do what ever they wanted take my money but I'm not gonna be called a liar and cheat
