DraftKings, Inc. Reviews (374)

The confirmation code provided to the consumer is not applicable for tracking purposes. As it has been nearly three months of the check not being delivered, we have issued a stop-payment on the outstanding check and have issued a $40.00 credit to the customers DraftKings account. The consumer can withdraw those funds or use them as they please. If they intend to withdraw the funds, please do so via [redacted] and not by check to avoid complications with their PO Box.

The consumer did deposit funds to their account, however, filed disputes with their bank for the total amount and won those disputes. As a result, they were refunded by their bank for the disputes they filed and if the merchant was to refund them, they would receiving subsequent funds they are not...

entitled too. The consumer must take this matter up with their bank as there is no further action needed between the consumer and merchant as the consumer filed disputes with their bank.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
I reject the response based on the fact that this company has refused to explain why there were two (2) account numbers in my name.  One which I used and set up and the other pulling unauthorized "recurring" withdrawals.  I was alerted to this by my bank's Fraud Department.  I have asked for an explanation 22 times via email because they refuse to speak with me.  Every email they have ignored. This is the basis for the original complaint and they have REFUSED to explain it.  The bank feels my identity may have been compromised and this group has conveniently failed to address or explain the the two (2) account numbers and unauthorized withdrawals. Moreover, they accused me of filing a false claim and at this point I have set up alerts for Credit Monitoring. The fact they refuse to address it and respond suggests that they either do not care, don't have an explanation or they do not want to disclose what they have discovered.

We appreciate the feedback in regards to our policies and how they can be best handled in the future, within our regulatory obligation. As a final make-good, we are willing to provide the customer with 150 DK Dollars which can be used for play on the site but is non-withdrawable. Please let us know if this resolution is satisfactory.

The merchant has been in consistent communication with the customer. The customer has been refunded the $24. 50 back to his deposit source and his DraftKings account has been reinstated for play. If the consumer would like any further mediation, the merchant will be more than happy to comply.

Not all accurate or true. it was for the same...

thing. their were no 3 separate occasions only 1 that got disputed twice. until I was willing to drop everything some people were very rude, and harassed me. I'm over that part. sometimes some people have to be a little abusive to get their work done after taken all the crap they do from some customers, and even though they don't mean it sometimes a hard day at work, and you can take it out on someone. I don't want this whole thing blowing up on either side more then it already has. all I asked for was 1 last chance I accepted my wrong doing, and from what I was doing their wrong doing they also apologized and moved on from. we both did wrong that lead to the initial problem. the thing that irritated me the most was after I carefully read their terms & conditions as well rules, and it made it very clear NO ONE MAY HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS, and just because I have a lot of friends in the fantasy sports world, and I know a handful of very successful players that make hundreds of thousands, and win a lot of tournament's that use multiple accounts some use 1 account strictly for football, and another for all other sports. I know I have broken a rule, but when I questioned why don't these same rules apply for everyone I felt blown off. I have gone out of my way to make everything work out in their favor, and I could not apologize enough, and finally they said look we are going to email you a form sign it, and fax it in it will help us get the [redacted] case closed out as well prevent a new one from opening, and we will most likely give you 1 last chance, witch would be my 3rd and final strike, as it would help them out for signing a legal document. I have been more then co operative we sat down had a very nice phone call, everyone was calm. but the story changed. I keep noted of all my phone calls just so I know for my reference what went on any agreements made etc so I have my own guide lines. the new story was it was just to close out the [redacted] close, when originally it was to help [redacted] close case in their favor, and I gave up my right to dispute a transaction against them. it was never intended to allow me 1 last chance to play again. I never used my "3rd chances it was just 2 chances on the same matter. I initially closed the dispute, that was number 1. then number 2 was opening up another one a few days later after a nasty phone call, nut again that's the past. I explained to them I am not out to hurt them, you guys at better business berau are the only ones that know about this issue I kept it to my self. I even had people ask why have I not seen you on draft kings in awhile, and I kept it to myself, I just needed a break. I feel as if I remained loyal as well I have only used draft kings even when this all was going down I never switched to another site in hopes just to see that I would not ditch them if they ever give me that final chance to prove I will not do them any wrong, and I remained true them.  it was only just recently I tried another site out, and don't really like it. if I was out to do any harm, I honestly don't think I would be out still telling people draft kings is the best even after my problems, I still recommended draft kings, I still want to play with them. if I did not move on, and accept things, and put them in the past I would not be asking for my 3rd chance to prove I Can be loyal, and not do them any wrong. I have written articles about them to help bring in more people for baseball season on who the good pitchers are during [redacted] season, not this season, but I Have in the past, and I am willing to start writing them again, I have even been really thinking about writing them up again for the last month of baseball season, and start something new for [redacted], maybe hockey since I got into it and was doing fairly well towards the end of the season. but I don't have access to the site anymore, and salaries along with other tools the site offers to help me write up my favorite  pitchers in each category low tier mid tier high tier. I honestly would not be pushing so hard to get that last chance if I did not want to play here. after everything we both have been through resolving this matter for me to ask for a last chance, and not just walk away from it never talking to you again, I think that shows a lot, and I WOULD NOT SCREW UP IF GIVING THE OPPURTUNITY.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. The only problem is I never advertised I would give anyone money to sign up with my referral link. You have no proof of anything, and if that is so why is my fathers account banned? His account has been on your site longer than I have he is not my referral. I have gotten multiple emails saying that my father is banned also when his account has nothing to do with this.

While the consumer claims they never received the said check, the merchant never had the check returned to our office. The consumer should contact their local postal office for additional information.

Please add your rejection comments below. I will accept the refund but I must deny the claims of the business responding to me. It shouldn't matter how high service volumes are at the time, a simple email response to someone who has such a minor issue should take no time at all. Especially with such a small dollar amount on top of ME having to remind the company MYSELF of how they have continuously ignored me. I greatly appreciate my refund after all of my begging and I wish your business well and hope you practice fairness in all your endeavors. If you can, please provide me with which one of MY debit cards in MY name that I uploaded MY funds with you will be charging the $5.13 back to since you guys have EVERYONEs card information on file for confirmation please and thank you. I need to know for tracking purposes and to ensure that the funds have been sent back to me in a timely manner. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

We receive a very high volume of inquires per day and the most efficient way to address all of them is via email. Once a deposit source is used on one account, that source locks to that account and cannot be used to fund any other accounts. If a user tried to use the same card on another account, there would be a restriction preventing this from happening. Once I have heard back from our Risk Management Department regarding your claim, I will reach back out to you with details.Best,[redacted]Customer Experience Associate DraftKings Inc.[redacted] Nov 22 12:44 pmWhy are you not responding to my inquiry regarding 2 account numbers? You banned me, accused me of wrongdoing, refused to give access to my games while others have the ability to manage their games. I am in a permitted jurisdiction, however, my account is showing as restricted?A. We recently updated our geographic location authentication systems. For additional information on how to troubleshoot any potential issues you may encounter please visithttp://status.draftkings.com.Q. How does the deposit bonus work? I deposited money but the funds were not matched?A. You can track your deposit bonus by going to the "My Account" page and look for the "Pending Bonus" section in the middle of the page. The deposit bonus releases in increments of $1 for every 100 Frequent Player Points (FPP's) you earn. FPP's are earned when joining any paid contest on the site. You cannot directly access your deposit bonus to enter contests. You must release it $1.00 at a time by participating in our contests. This deposit bonus is a rewards based program which encourages our users to participate frequently in our contests.Q. I referred a friend to the site, however, I did not receive the bonus?A. In most cases, new users fail to register through the referring user’s unique RAF link, thus causing both users not to receive credit upon the initial deposit. Please provide your username and the username(s) of the referrals in question. We will investigate the issue and apply credits accordingly.Q. How do withdrawals work? How do I get my money?A. All winnings are credited to your DraftKing's Account. You can then use them to enter contests again or withdraw them. Any withdrawal requests, after approved by DraftKings, will be credited back to the same credit card or method of payment ([redacted], Gift Card) used to deposit funds on the Website dating back 3-months in chronological order. We ask that all of our users notify us prior to requesting their withdrawal of any deposit sources that are lost, stolen or closed. That way, we can go ahead and ban those deposit sources from our database, and they will no longer be refunded in future withdrawals.Again, please respond directly to this email if your inquiry was not addressed and one of our Customer Experience Associates will follow up as soon as possible. The response from the merchant to the consumer, which seems to have been lost in transit is below. The merchant has confirmed with the issuing bank that the dispute has not been dropped. The merchant has exhausted all potential avenues and is able to confirm the charge is still disputed. We require that the consumer work with the card issuing bank to resolve the matter at hand. As outlined in the terms of service, any consumer who charges back a deposit will have their account closed. Until the dispute has been dropped, the account will not be reinstated
