Very Disappointed, first I called Russell and asked about delivery as time for use was importantI was assured delivery would be 3-business days; although invoice says 5-it took the which interfered with major appointmentsThe lift sold is supposedly approved as sturdy enough to carry a Golden Avenger and approved for a Toyota Highlander - NOT SO - very flimsy and not sturdy or big enoughI called Scooter Direct back and was basically told to bad - you installed it - nothing can be done - NO RETURN ALLOWED - he could care less the danger and fear my handicapped husband felt with this lift - he could care less that it inhibited his sight-ability he needs with his back up camera in order to driveIt was not about the satisfaction of his customer it was all about the money for himI would not recommend doing business with this personBuy your lift from someone local that installs and cares about their customers Scooter Direct is not customer Friendly and could care less about their customer satisfactionI am out over $- shame on Scooter Direct

We have now heated our house with the heat pump from Coastal for about two years - and we are loving it! It has cut out total hydro bill in half (from an average of about KWHs/day to about KWHs/day), which means that the heating portion is now down to about 40% (non-heating usage is about 20KWHs/day, so that would be 60KWHs down to 22KWHs/day which is 37% - pretty close to the savings expected from this system with an HSPF of 9.2)...And that is heating the whole house to 20C, where before we heated the living and dining room to 15C and the family room and kitchen to 20C
The other benefit, of course, is the whole house is very nice and comfortableIt has totally changed the comfort level of our home!
Most people I've talked to about our heat pump haven't heard about the "ductless mini-split" and has got them thinking about doing the same as us
FANTASTIC, FLEXIBLE, LIGHTWEIGHT PORTABLE SCOOTER
Having stenosis and degenerative back disease, I am able to walk short distances, but need help for longer distances or prolonged periods standing I spent a long time trying to find a scooter that was easily transportable, had a long range on a battery charge, was durable, well-constructed and lightweight As I researched this subject, I began to think that such a scooter did not exist Most were bulky, not transportable and definitely not airline friendly Some that were called "lightweight and transportable" had to be disassembled into multiple parts to transport then re-assembled upon arrival at the destination
When I found the EV Rider Transport Plus with the Lithium-Ion Battery option, it was exactly what I was looking for It is very well engineered, durable, lightweight (with the Li-Ion battery option), airline friendly, and folded into a very compact package resembling a suitcase on wheels From folded to open position takes only seconds flat, and again only seconds to close It is small enough to comfortably fit in our Prius and can easily be lifted to the ground by my wife and me, or if necessary by myself
I never have written a review before, but I am so pleased with this scooter that I felt I should share my experience with others
I must also commend Scooter Direct for their excellent Customer Service and attention to detail When I called during my research phase (pre-purchase), I spoke with Russell, who answered on the second ring (what a pleasant surprise) He was able to answer all my questions which convinced me to buy the Transport Plus, and buy it from Scooter DirectRussell completely answered all of my questions and did not apply any sales pressure at all, not at all like other organizations I spoke with during my research I needed to call with additional questions after I had placed my online order and once again, Russell answered on the second ring and was just as helpful in answering my questions as the first time I had spoken with him
If I could rate all aspects of the Scooter and Scooter Direct higher that a "5", I would!
