Customer called in reguarding an air conditioning emergency on 5/29/16 of which ac was not working and not turning on. A technician arrived to [redacted] house with in 25 minutes as requested by [redacted] on a Sunday evening on a holiday weekend a price was give before...

any work was performed. After diagnosing what was wrong with the central air conditioning system the technician found there was several issues with the central air and that the unit shut down as a safety because there was water in pad. The condensation from air handler was not draining. The condensation drain lines were also installed incorrect because the primary drain line coming off of air handler was tee'd together (connected) with backup condensation line coming off of condensation back up pad underneath air handler, which they should have there own drain lines running separately off of air handler and separately off of condensation backup pad. The technician notified [redacted] about the issues and that they should be replaced and installed correctly. [redacted] was aware of the price to clean condensation lines and that we could not guarantee proper functions of them because of the two drain lines tied together. [redacted] agreed and the technician pitched the air handler towards the drain ports and then started to perform one of the two ways to clear the clog inside the condensation pipes. He first blew out the primary drain port off of the air handler condensation pipe with 140psi of nitrogen for 30 minutes to push any debris inside the 3/4" pvc pipe and did the same to the condensation drain pain 30 minutes after that procedure went to the other end of condensation pipe which is ran across attic floor where the pvc line penatrates through the front side of the house and from the outside on the ladder the technician snaked the line back (from outside in to the air handler) after snaking the technician blew more air from the attic condensation line and had [redacted] look at the outside to confirm line was free and clear and that she saw water and air coming out of the pipe. The technician was at the job for 3-1/2 hrs and cleaned the lines two different ways to push anything that could possible be in there. The technician was upfront and transparent with the customer.
