BEWARE...DISHONEST SCAMMERS! We have a home warranty that forced us to initially use this company (Drain Go/ ***) that did unnecessary and overpriced work that we had to pay for out of pocket ...and didn't even fix all of our issues after paying a price gouging $7425 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Among other things, DrainGo lied and said we had to have an outside cleanout access point installed because they couldn't locate one to put a camera through. They tore up our concrete driveway to get to the main line and installed a clean out access that we DID NOT NEED. Our son is a doctor and had to have workable indoor plumbing so he could come home briefly to shower, eat and sleep before racing back to patients in the hospital. After the unnecessary work and wasting 3 days of our time, DrainGo returned to our house after we voiced our displeasure of still not having a workable kitchen sink after paying $7425 and they wanted another $3100 for "additional undetected" repairs. We declined any further services from Drain Go and called another company (***) for a second opinion. The new plumber went under the house and easily found 6 clean out access points that Drain Go falsely said weren't there. We have pictures and a statement from the reputable company, ***, to back this up. Drain Go also lied about the length of cast iron plumbing that they replaced and left all of their trash and broken pipes under the house. The a/c duct was also damaged and disconnected in the exact area they were working under the house which they didn't bother to reconnect or tell us about when they left. All of our cooled air was being released under the house due to their negligence. We then filed a complaint with the home warranty company against Drain Go and and received a substantial portion of our money back from the warranty company. Hopefully, their investigation of fraudulent services will prevent other unsuspecting homeowners from being taken advantage of in their time of need.

The plumbing company gave false statements about work needing to be completed... they perform an outside job and started there was a break inside the home. the insurance company sent out another company to double check and there was no break... this is insurance fraud... also upon calling the company the about this issue they hung us on us several times....The draingo person who completed the work was ***.. the office representative was ***... The insurance adjuster stated that he had several instances where Drain go has attempted to do jobs that are unnecessary. The is a unprofessional and dishonest company...

Upon their technician departing our residence, we were instructed to relight the pilot light of our water heater (repaired by the technician). Upon lighting the pilot light, we were exposed to heat and open flames due to an uncontrolled natural gas release valve. This valve should have been addressed by the technician, and this issue could have resulted in serious injury or death. This is extreme negligence on the part of the company. After being without hot water for a week, a new heater was installed; however, the technician flipped the disconnect box on the HVAC, thus frying the system, prior to departing the residence. The sister company verified that the disconnect box had been fried through a mere coincidence, thus, exhibiting a serious conflict of interest. When trying to address this issue with Draingo, the manager hung up the phone, exhibiting serious unprofessional behavior. We are still without heat and being told no repair will be made unless we pay an additional $300. Draingo will not return my calls.

I have called on this company twice to handle some plumbing issues and they have never disappointed me. Very professional and informative.

I found the business to be dishonest in their communication with both the home warranty company and me, the homeowner. I did not let them complete the work and would not recommend them to anyone.

Draingo came out to help diagnose a sewage smell we’ve been dealing with in our house. They fixed some things throughout the house that needed fixing but unfortunately the smell was still present. Draingo ran a camera through the access in our backyard. The plumber claimed that we had a belly and two breaks but they would not tell us where the breaks were until we hired them for the job. He gave a verbal quote of $7500 minimum. At this point we needed to involve our insurance before we do anything. We file a claim and get the process going. The claims adjuster came and said to continue the claim he needs to know where the breaks are located. Again Draingo will not tell us unless we hire them for the job. I get another plumber to come run a camera and he finds absolutely no breaks in our house. He ran the camera through multiple access points throughout the house. Draingo’s Plumber lied and was just looking to rip up my foundation to fix a problem that wasn’t there. Do not use Draingo people.

Drain Go is the best plumbing company I have dealt with. I can truly said they stand behind every word they say. That is a very good company to have in your corner.

They were nice, quick and professional. I do recommend their services.

The service of Draingo was superb. The wait time between the call to them and the time they were at my house was surprisingly short. The technician had my drains cleared in no time. My whole experience with the Draingo company was so professional that I would recommend them to anyone needing to unstop any drains.

Came in response to a home warranty service call but refused to come back and finish the job.

I've been a customer of Drain Go for years and never been disappointed by the quality of their work or their professionalism. Will use them again and again.

I called Drain Go on 7/23/19 to request a plumber for a problem with my bathtub and a separate shower. They came out that day and fixed the bath tub and I was under the impression that they fixed my shower as well. The two men were very polite and nice. Over the next several days the shower was still not working right. So on 7/31/19 I called to tell them that my shower was still messed up and had not been fixed. I informed the lady who answered the phone that I could not afford another $207 for them to come “fix it” again. She informed me that there would be no charge. The same guys came back out the next day (today - 8/1/19) to fix it. When they were finished he said it would be $138. I told him that the lady I spoke with said there would be no charge for today. The man told me it was for the cartridge that they had to replace. I don’t know much about plumbing so after they left I looked up pricing on temperature cartridges for showers and they are NOT that expensive. Both times they came out to do work, I paid with a check because that is what they requested. I asked if they were going to bill me and he said he could
take cash, check, or card. I was told I would receive a receipt via email (I even made sure he had my email) and I never received a receipt. I didn’t get an invoice or receipt from either visit. I called after the guys left today to talk to the lady at Drain Go and she put me on hold for 10 minutes (she obviously called the plumber). She said that I was charged for them putting the cartridge in because when they came out before that “it worked for several days after that”. I don’t mind paying for a cartridge, but they charged me for well over what a cartridge costs. I was lied to and taken advantage of and am now out a lot of money from both visits. And I’ve yet to receive a invoice or receipt still.

and his accomplice(***) came and lied to us essentially about their plumbing work. Told us there is a leak in the house then changed it to it’s “another leak outside the house but we are still going to charge the same amount for the job”....I understand jobs change and this isn’t exact but the new job became a lot easier (no rerouting throughout the house required) and they refused to discount the price. This is taking advantage of customers and this local branch in Ridgeland isn’t trustworthy at all. Do not use this company.
update: they charged about 1000 dollars per hour to fix a small leak. Then the plumber has no shame and calls us and asks us why we wrote a bad review. Plumbers these days think their work deserves 1k per hour. people reading this review should judge for themselves.

Draingo was hired to install a toilet and tankless water heater. The men that came out to do the work were pleasant and professional. Both jobs were done well and I have no complaints. I would recommend Draingo to my friends and family for their plumbing needs. Thanks guys!
