For one Bill is ready to testify in court that he offered the customer a new water heater first before any talk of trying to fix it(It's what 100% of all plumbers do every time)That's when the customer said it's not that old I want to try to fix it The board that needed replacing was $and with that installed it told us we had other problems which we tried to fix, the estimate for $labor turned out to be just that an estimate the actual time was hours at $an hour before we gave up, it lit but would not stay lit.But but we only charged her $200.Electronics are not returnable not only in the plumbing industry but any industry, so we could not return itWe are only asking for $totalWhich is $labor, $parts and a standard 5% service charge (assessed to all invoices).To tell you to tell you the truth I'm having a very hard time understanding what the customer is talking about in this rebuttalBut the customer told me she had a plumber install this water heater and she told [redacted] that her son did it,(it was not up to code) so I think she's having a hard time keeping her story straight.So so I maintain there were no improprieties done by our company We do regret the water heater doesn't work but like we said from the beginning you need a new oneWe did offer to install an AO Smith power vent for $(which is the price) and then she would not have to pay the$724, (this is a great deal, noone else would do), but she said she wouldn't trust us to install it which makes no sense

*** ***To begin with when their person Bill came to my house he looked at the heater and said he was going to order a part part for installation there was no discussion at that point that I needed a new hot water tank that the part was to fix the problem *** came a few days later and installed the part he was here for a time I did go down a few times after a few hours he said I can't fix it that I needed a new hot water heatHe wrote out an invoice and said "I am just to to put all this babble down and get it over with" he handed me his invoice when I looked at it was for I was so taken aback that as soon as he left I cancelled the payment My feeling is why would I pay that part that he put in and it didn't fix it and that part according to them is unusable that was NEVER TOLD TO ME.I offered them to pay the for the service call but refuse to pay for a part they installed that fixed nothing that is what I am offering to pay the that was quoted to me by Bill when he ordered the part he said part labor and I also told them to come and take the part out because it didn't fix the water heater They have not even said to me what they expect to get paid for he has work completed I don't have the water heater and now I would not trust them to install a new one and have a lot more problems

*** ***I think we are at a stand still I am willing to pay MY FINAL OFFER this is so sad that there is a part in the water heater which cost as was told to me If Bill would have said I can put this part in and you have to pay the plus the and it may not fix the problem I would never have agreeded to that I was under the understanding the part would FIX the problem never would I pay for something the May fix it that was never said As far as letting them put in a new water heater after all this I would not want to trust them again what may there be hidden charges and I would never tell any one to use them becuase of this I think the if fair .as far as my grandson installing he helped install with a PLUMBER He will be home and feels it is still the part that he told me to tell ***If not I will get another Company to install I still do not have hot water because of all this and I feel if they want to go to court for I will go I am sitting here with a part of that is useless and they should have told me up front that it may not fix the problem It has been a hard lesson for me as now I will never use Home Advisor again I am sorry all this worked out the way it has and by paying for nothing I think is fairit they choose to go to court now I will be happy to go and hopefully I won't have to even pay the I thank the Revdex.com for their help it is up to Drains are Us to decide I also feel that I have not answered Home Advisor as they have contacted me and all I have said that we are working thru and not said anything as to what as occurred I think it is very hard to understand where this company is coming from I will accept nothing less then I pay the for nothing and settle thisIf they want to go to court I will let Revdex.com how this company does work

To whom it may concern, The customer was told she needed a new hot water heater and she replied with this one's not that old can't it be fixed, where we said we can try because it says it's the mainboard according to our Diagnostics. Well after spending almost $500 on the board we put it in and...

it started throwing multiple other error codes for the unit ignitor gas too low excetera and the customer refuses to accept that the unit is shot  We spent 5 hours working on it that is at $95 an hour almost $600 as it is and with an almost $500 part the bill should have been $1,100 it was $724 total. Which the customer first agreed to pay (Signature) and gave us a credit card number but then later stop the payment on the transaction without any notice to us. We stopped working on the water heater that day because the customer came downstairs multiple times but on the third time after 5 hours she said maybe this isn't going to work and my technician replied I don't think it's going to work either I've done everything you need a new water heater and he offered to give her one for $1,200 normally $1,900 it's an AO Smith power vent. So basically we would have done what we suggested in the first place given her a new one for $1,900 but also humoring her by messing around with her old unit for 5 hours for free and eating the cost of the main board which is not returnable. She refused my offer Everything we have done we have documented and gotten signatures for acceptance of proposed work approval and completion.I I have no doubt  that in a court of law  this document will be upheld. We did nothing illegal  or wrong. we never received a penny from the customer so a refund is pretty much out of the question.

We had a back up last Saturday in are basement, it was a mess so we called them and Dave came out, did a great job, but not even a week later it happened again, wasn't to happy because I was going through [redacted] so last thing I need was this and knowing I was really sick and no bathroom, well we called them and asked if they would come back out, because money right now is very tight [redacted], and we really work hard for are money and we believe if you gave back and kind it will come back, well they sent Dave back and he really took his time to make sure it worked this time I don't write long reviews, but being sick and don't know the out come I want to make sure people know about this company and they care about what you think of there company, so thank you and Dave we can't thank you enough, [redacted]
