Ms [redacted] enrolled at Drake College of Business on 10/6/in the Dental Assisting program.Ms [redacted] completed the didactic portion of her program but stopped attending school on 4/10/without completing her externship She returned on 6/8/in order to complete her externship and graduate.Ms [redacted] failed to complete her externship and her file was closed for lack of activity on 8/3/ Because she did not complete her externship requirements, Ms [redacted] did not graduate.Ms [redacted] has no financial obligation to Drake College of Business.She does, however, have loans with the United States Department of Education; their phone number is ###-###-#### These loans must be repaid even if the student does not graduate This was explained fully to Ms [redacted] and is documented in her file

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When I went back to do my externship after I got off maternity leave the employees that worked there at the time gave me my time card I started to do my externship at a nursing home on Broadway after Drake college informed me they couldn't find me a externship when I cana back to return my time card the employees at the time told me they had no records of me ever going there and that they couldn't take my time sheet and it didn't make any since how I received this time card and there was no record for me and that I wouldn't be receiving a certificate so I shouldn't finish the externship because I was not in the system Regards, [redacted]

Drake College of Business must follow regulations per the U.SDepartment of Education regarding program completion time. Drake always informs students that they must complete their programs in a timely manner. Ms*** did not complete her program in the required time frame. Documentation in her file supports this. Should Ms*** possess documentation that shows she completed her externship before her file was closed, we will gladly work with her. Student records are never removed from our database and Drake follows New Jersey Department of Education regulations regarding record retention.Please contact Drake at ###-###-#### with the required documentation to resolve this issue.If Ms*** does not contain this documentation, Drake must follow federal regulations and her file must remain closed and her status cannot be changed
