We absolutely did not have a positive experience with [redacted] Drake. We had water damage in our house and hired his company to perform repairs in our kitchen. He promised to install a tile floor, fix our cabinet that was damaged by water and to competently repair sink pipes and install a garbage disposal. He was difficult to work with because of his poor communication skills, as he did not answer his phone, texts, or emails until several days later. He brought in a laborer who was unable to drive due to multiple DUI convictions, so when the time came to purchase new pipes and fittings for the plumbing underneath the sink, we had to go ourselves. The laborer hired by Drake forgot where the pipes from the basement were located through the kitchen floor so he tiled over the opening and when he realized his mistake, he took a drill and broke up the tiles to get to the pipes, thus there are still broken pieces of tile under our sink, the job looks horrible. The bottom of the cabinet that he was supposed to fix and bring to original state was no more than a thin piece of ply wood he nailed to the bottom of the cabinet, as of now, it’s falling apart. He used the cheapest materials possible, even though we were paying for higher quality materials, so you can guess where the money went.
Drake had to re-install and readjust the garbage disposal multiple time the next week because the plumbing sprung a leak, the pipes were continuously leaking from the shoddy job. This continuous tinkering and fixing of the plumbing caused us more worry, when his company should gone out and have hired a state-certified, expert professional plumber to do the kitchen sink/disposal install job instead of relying on the less experienced general laborer and then himself, to fix it through trial and error and having to fix little leaks as they appeared. We needed that security that our kitchen is completely and totally protected against a water leak in the near and long term future, and Mr. Drake was unfortunately unable to provide us that security. The entire job took over three long months to complete (we do not have a big kitchen), there were so many delays on their end plus additional days they had to come out to re-fix what they fixed before, we had to take off multiple days of work just to oversee what his laborers were doing, which wasn’t much. This was the worst company I’ve ever worked with, please do not use them, stay away from them!
