I paid drake investigation to get some information for me they took my money and never got me the information. I ask them for a full refund because they did nothing for me I called another agency and they got the information I needed drake investigation is awful and no one should use them
Unfortunately, this client is not telling the truth. The initial question was whether the Subject still used the phone number that she was given. We did a name search for her and found that the telephone number was a working number. An address search was done as well and many family members with the same surname were determined to be living at that address. Other family members addresses were also found throughout the metro area. The Client did admit that the individual in question is an illegal and continually buys identities and switches every three weeks. Many hours were spent discussing this case and the information obtained.
After a time, she began to call and start to make threats. The client has called and immediately hung up. Her calls have become increasing harassing and angry in tone, so much so, that if she continues, we will call the authorities.
The information was supplied to her in a timely manner. She paid a nominal fee and was given the information and we will not make a refund. The information that the client stated she received from another agency was a totally different and concerned a criminal record search. It had nothing to do with verification of a phone. If the client feels she was wronged, she should file a suit in small claims and we can let a judge decide.
This is not true.I hired drake investigation to check a phone number for me which they did not do they took my money and said they did not know if that was still the subjust phone and they did not give me any information on the subjust at all they are lieing.I have called them twice for a full refund because they did not provide the serve I asked for and they were very rude. This is not the first time they have taken people's money and not provide service. It's very simple they didnt do there job so I would like a full refund

It is unfortunate that Ms. is not happy. I am very sympathetic to her situation. However, her complaint changes for each agency where she has made a complaint. She spoke to me and said that she was able to get all of his criminal information from another agency. That may well be true and we could have done the same, but she contracted for a simple phone search for $175. Our background investigations are performed at $375 to $775 depending upon the depth of inquiry. Our hourly rate is $95.00 per hour. We were not attempting to take advantage of Ms.. I spent at least 2.5 hours on various phone conversations covering all the relatives and the Subject's girlfriend.
A free consultation is always available by appointment. She was always welcomed to come in to the office if she had further issues.
The man who owned the phone is a scam artist. The number is a working number and he is known by the client to purchase false identities to obtain work since he is not in the country legally. Based upon our findings, a family member is answering the phone. The man scammed Ms. out of $6000.
Upon conclusion of the phone inquiry, Ms. did not express any unhappiness. She only contacted me some time later when she started filing complaints. I will be happy to speak to her.
