I hired Climate Right to do a remodel after a flood This included walls, floors, cabinets, and baseboards They charged over hours of labor (~$2000) to prep and paint two rooms When they were finished, there was primer showing through the paint, and they had painted over outlets They didn't texturize areas of the wall that needed it, so when it was complete there were two holes the size of golf balls showing above the baseboard The baseboards were cut at the wrong angles, so all the corners required caulk to fill in gaps My biggest concern was the floor I asked for a stained concrete floor The floor was not properly prepped (adhesive was not removed) so stain couldn't react with the concrete surface Instead, it looked like a construction work site floor When sweeping, pieces of the floor (the adhesive) would chip off and expose grey concrete beneath
The stain instructions specifically say to remove all debris and adhesive from the floor Following the debacle, the owner of the company was unwilling to work with me fairly to resolve these issues He also was unwilling to take phone calls or respond to messages Overall, I have been incredibly disappointed in the quality of workmanship, the misleading initial quote for time and labor, and lack of response to concerns In the end, It cost a couple thousand dollars to repair damages from their work
