Drastic Drainage

My gas service was shut off on 2/29/due to non payment even though my account was current with no past due balance
Gas service was disconnected on 2/29/due to non paymentMy account was not past due and current balance due showed posted on 2/26/on my bank statementIn addition they charged me a $re-connection fee on 3/1/I find this practice completely unfair as I have dealt with many utility companies over the years and service is never threatened to be disconnected unless there is a past due balanceThey only provide for days from the date of bill to bring charges currentThere have been many occasions that I don't receive the bill until to days past the billing date
